Trying to find Inspiration

Lately I have been trying to get back into running.  Summer is almost here and I would like to get back into hiking shape.  This weekend I saw a lot of cool things on my run, which helped me with my focus.  Here are some photos.

A headless goose standing on water.

Oh wait he has a head.

A large family.

Just catching some rays.

Chestnut Hill Reservoir is a beautiful place to run and help find motivation to keep going.

I think I’d be motivated to stop and bask in the glory more than run! Ha! Very cool pix. I love ducks and turtles. I’m not into running but I love to take walks. I could see myself frequenting that place for my walks if I lived there. I hope it continues to motivate you all summer long!

  2. I’m hoping it will as well! Thanks!

Love turtles, and the headless goose shot made me crack up at work. I used to be a maid in Chestnut Hill (for a very brief time). It was a pretty area! I too want to get back to hiking and start running, but if I take the camera with me, I stop waaay too often!

Yes the camera can be an issue and sometimes I’m not sure if I find something beautiful or if I just want to stop. That is one of the reasons why I don’t always bring it. The other reason: who needs the added weight?

    Loving the wildlife photos!

  6. Thanks! I’m a sucker for animals and getting pictures of them.
