Reason 106 why I work

To see a giraffe in Chobe National Park in Botswana.  They need to lick the soil for nutrients.

I went to Africa last summer and loved it!

  3. How lovely, what a great shot!

  4. What a lovely reason to work!!

I visited Africa a few years ago for three weeks and loved it. I was mostly in South Africa with a bit of visiting in Lesotho, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe.

Like you, I loved the animals. I went on a couple of wonderful safari adventures. One was a “bare bones basic’ safari and the other was more upscale. I enjoyed both and learned from each. We were right there with all the beauty, the lions, the giraffes, rhino. What an adventure.

Lovely picture of that giraffe, too!

It’s amazing there isn’t it. We visited Zambia, Botswana, and South Africa. The animals are so amazing to see and observe. We didn’t see any rhinos though. I’m jealous that you did!
