Wow! Amazing!
He’s stunning! Thank goodness he didn’t take any interest in us. His teeth are a bit frightening.
Excellent Capture !
Thanks Emad! The lion did all the work though.
Wow! What an amazing photo! Scary and moving all at the same time…
Thanks! Even though he was laying down, I knew who was the boss and I didn’t mess with him.
Roaring, or just tired? 🙂
Let me know when you reach London!
Tired. Won’t be in London until next month. I’m excited!
As you should be!
Best city i the world. And my home.
Where are you going to be?
Haven’t been to my apartment yet. But I think it is in Earls Court. Does that sound right? Sorry, I’ve never been to London so all of this is very new to me.
Glad to hear that you love London! I have a feeling I’ll have a blast.
Known for its Australian residents. Handy for Kensington and the museums.
London is big.
Take it slow. Walk along by the river. Discover the South Bank. Join the Ramblers http://www.ramblers.org.uk/ and explore the places outside London. Winter is a great time for walking in the countryside and having snug lunches in cosy pubs.
Go to the Tower on a bright cold December day when everyone else is Christmas shopping and take a packed lunch, or at least a thermos, and spend the day there. Go beachcombing on the Thames foreshore when the tide is out. Stand on Waterloo Bridge and look at the river and listen to the Kinks on your -pod.
Discover Radio 4.
Great tips! I didn’t know you could go beach combing along the Thames. I’ll have to get some Kinks for my Ipod. Any suggestions for albums/songs? Snug lunches in cozy pubs sound so delightful. I really really can’t wait! I’ll look into the Ramblers. Thanks!
Wow, love that image… that is beyond cool.
Thanks! It was awesome to see!
That’s me!!! Leo the lion…my astrological sign. And yawning…my favorite past-time…sleep…if I could only get enough of it. 🙂
He looked like he didn’t get enough sleep either.
Big floppy tounge hes got there. Able to lick raw meat from bone. Great shot. and Im jealous again. I want to beach comb along the Thames. hehehehh
The Thames does sound nice!
I think I’ll reprise this comment and make a blog on my page about London stuff in a day or so.
I can wax everso lyrical about the Thames! 🙂
Wow – I have just spent the day uploading photos from my trip in ’84 on to my computer. One of those thingies that transfers your negatives – nearly 600 of them. Now I just have to fix them up a bit – some doctoring to do and I might pop them up on the blog.
I can’t wait to see your pictures. That sounds like a fun trip down memory lane!
Interesting.
I’ve looked at ads for those things and wondered if they were any good. Would you recommend one?
Ads for transferring your photos?
I’m looking forward to your blog posting on London!
don’t stick around..after he wakes up he will probably be hungry!
Good advice!
WOW! This is amazing, and yes, it was good that he didn’t notice you! Well captured, Thank you, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia. We were at the right place at the right time…nap time.
Wow! I really am enjoying your blog. Keep up with it! I look forward to reading and seeing more

Thanks Caveman! I just found your blog yesterday. I’m looking forward to yours as well.
Nice captured TBM! As usual, you’re great in photos of animals. You give me some inspirations, maybe in the near future I’ll try it. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! I would love to see your photos of animals.
Hear me roar!
They do have a loud roar!
