The other day I popped into a sports bar in London to catch some of the Liverpool match. The guys at the table didn’t fit in at all.

Ha ha this is great! Maerry Christmas! 😀
When I first showed up there were only a couple of Santas, but they kept coming into the bar. I think there was a Santa run in town that day and these Santas were thirsty after the run. Can’t blame them!
That is so much fun. It would have been a riot to have been there to witness that.
Oh it was. I kept thinking, “surely that’s all that are coming in.” And yet more would appear. I love the holidays!
I love it!!! What a great photo!!!! Santa gets thirsty, too!!!!
He better hydrate…his big night is quickly approaching!
Ha, ha! A Santa convention!…..well maybe not!! I said that because I have a very good friend who is an excellent Santa Clause (looks just like him) and books up every year with people wanting Santa visits, parties and photographs. He goes to Santa conventions regularly!
I had no idea that they had Santa conventions. That would be interesting to attend one. Do they only drink milk and eat cookies?
Are they hashers? I think the hashers do a Santa-hasher run every year. (You would be able to tell they were hashers if they were… well, drunk would be a good start.) I don’t know, do they even have hashers in London? Hm.
Yes, google says they are a global phenomenon.
I don’t know. I haven’t heard of it before. But if drunk is a sign…maybe. I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for the tip.
I couldn’t get the London Hashers’ page to load but here’s your basic wiki-knowledge: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_House_Harriers
Thanks for the page!
We have a charity Santa dash in my town tomorrow!
Check the local bars and see if you find them.
Now that is holiday spirit!! Love it!
It was a fun atmosphere to watch! I love this time of year!
Pssst!!! They were Santa’s little elves!!!!!
Shouldn’t they be building toys?
So this is why my presents are not here yet… Santa(s) are busy with something else :D…
Let’s hope he gets his act together before the big night or a lot of us will be sad.
Oh, my God! We are all waiting for Santa (we are= children=(and)me 🙂 ) but they are going to a bar….. This was so lovely and great fun dear TBM, you were in right time in right place for this moment. Wonderful photograph. Thank you, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia! I’m with you, I act like a kid this time of year and I’m also excited to see what Santa brings. Have a wonderful weekend!
I was in a pub once when a Father Christmas party arrived. The group included some Mother Christmas’ and some with an apparent penchant for PVC…
That sounds like an interesting experience. Do you have any pictures?
hilarious! those weirdos at the table should be have been given santa hats at the door.
I felt bad for them. I was at a table far enough away not to feel silly in my “normal” clothes. But these poor guys were surrounded.
This is such a brilliant photo! Oh I love London, and clearly Santa does too 🙂
London is a great town. I’m loving it here. I’m hoping Santa loves us here. I have a feeling he loves Spain as well!
What an awesome photo… must have been a surprise to walk in on them.
It was a wonderful surprise! I love seeing people have fun and enjoy life.
Ha! My friends used to do a Santa Pub Crawl, then they switched it to a Zombie Pub Crawl (around Halloween). The funny thing is usually by the the third bar you can’t tell if someone is in “Zombie Character”, or just really ripped!
A zombie crawl…that’s brilliant. I’ll have to look into that next year. I’m sure I’ve done a zombie impression at some point and didn’t know it.
Hehehe
Good thing the reindeer will be in charge on the big night!
mate i think i know where this is, it looks like a bar i go too in Strand/temple is THis Walkabout
I believe that is the one. Were you one of the Santas 🙂
lol TBM great, no i want part of the santas 🙂
wasn’t*
I liked that bar. It was our first visit. I loved all the TVs!
Big group of “Santa’s Helpers”, isn’t it?
At least, that’s what I told my daughter!
They are making sure all the children are getting their presents this year. I put in a request for Legos.
Fantastic (and very seasonal) capture! 🙂
