My first thought as I looked at this photo was what a wonderful place that would be to sit with a good book – so relaxing!! Beautiful photo!
It would be a great place to read. Everyone was doing a little bit of everything when I visited. There were people swimming, boating, fishing, walking, hiking, running and some were relaxing and reading.
Such a peaceful images… very nice.
You can do some great thinking there. So much inspiration.
I like the way you have captured this scene. Beautiful. 🙂
Thanks Nandini! I liked the view through the trees.
Beautiful! I like how the trees in front frame the water.
Thanks Fergiemoto!
Lovely. I’m definitely going to have to make a trip there someday.
I hope you do get to see it. When I visited it was a cold rainy day, but it was still beautiful.
So peaceful, but more of a lake than a pond!
I was surprised by how large it is!
perfect, peaceful place
A good place for you to write some poems!
I have a similar photo as my blog header, too. I’ve been to Walden once and thought it was the most magical, inspiring, peaceful place. It is my zen spot.
I felt the same way. Such a gorgeous spot. I wish I lived closer to it. I would visit it every day.
Wonderful view with a wonderful photographical composition… Thank you dear TBM, with my love, nia
Thank you Nia!
So beautiful and peaceful… Love those green tree branches in the first plan
Thanks Kristina!
Every scene like this makes me want to sit down and either read or write.

This is a great place to write, read, or just think. I loved it! Thanks for stopping by!
THE Walden Pond? Thoreau’s? (as if it’s truly his, huh?) How amazing! 🙂
That is the one. Amazing isn’t it. Before we left Boston I made sure to visit this place. I’m glad I didn’t miss it.
Gorgeous – as usual!
Thanks Hook. You are always so kind.
