This photo was taken from the car while driving on one of the roads in Concord, Massachusetts last May. I loved the greenness against the cloudy sky.

Thanks Xandi!
Is this Walden Pond?
I’m not sure what pond this is, but I know that it isn’t Walden. We just drove by it and I snapped a photo. Earlier that day we had been to Walden, which is much larger and I was surprised that it isn’t considered a lake instead.
Fits the ‘peaceful’ challenge for me as well!
So many ‘peaceful’ scenes in Concord. I fell in love with the scenery there.
I just love the reflections! Nice job!
Thanks that is one of my favorite aspects.
what an awesome shot!
Thanks!
What a lovely picture!!!
Thanks Beth Ann!
Great picture, so peaceful!
It is a peaceful area, hard to believe the fighting in the American Revolution began there.
you are right. the contrast of the bright green trees against the grey sky is stunning.
Nature has the best color schemes. It always amazes me. Thanks Kate!
Really nice reflection – so crisp!
I like the word crisp for this. Great!
Is this Walden? Another great photo!
Such a special place.
If I remember correctly this pond was closer to Emerson’s home, but I don’t know the name.
I love the reflection of the trees in the water.
Thanks! I was pleased when I got home and saw that the reflection actually showed in the picture.
So peaceful! Thanks for sharing =)
I thought so as well. Glad you enjoyed.
Beautiful, vibrant colors!
Thanks Hook!
What a beautiful reflection you captured, fascinated me, dear TBM. Thank you, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia!
Beauty and stillness!
Great description of the area. Thanks!
I love how the pond mirrors the trees – this is a good writing prompt for children or poets or struggling authors – perfect image as well for artists – i love the reflective aspect of the photo. 🙂
Thanks! I think this place would inspire many artists and writers.
