I hope you have enjoyed the views of Victoria Falls this week. Β This photo was taken during an evening river cruise on the Zambezi, the source of the falls.

I did love your views of Victoria Falls this week!! Thank you for taking us along on your journey to a place that most of us will probably never have a chance to visit. It was wonderful to travel vicariously through you. π
I’m glad you liked the photos!
Wow… this picture is stunning. I’m so jealous that you actually got to see this live and in living color! ^_^ I hope you continue enjoying your travels.
Thanks! I hope to continue traveling, but I won’t be going back to Africa any time soon unfortunately. I hope to go back someday though!
Victoria Falls, “Mosi-oa-Tunya,” the “smoke that thunders.” Matt Lauer visited there once for his series “Where in the World is Matt Lauer.” I was in the other room and shouted out to my husband, “That’s gotta be Vic Falls!” There’s no other sound like it. Thanks for your photos.
Once you see it and hear it I don’t think you can ever forget it. That’s cool that you recognized from the other room π
Yeah it was pretty cool. I get to hear it again in May when I visit Zambia!
I’m so jealous and happy for you! Enjoy!
Beautiful. I’d love to see water like that again. π
I have a a few Katie. I’ll look for more.
haaaa it keeps reminding me of Niagara falls! So great π Love the sunset!
Sunset and sunrise are my favorite times of the day. I don’t see enough sunrises though π
Great photo!
Thanks Robyn.
so peaceful – but I can imagine all sorts of turbulence under neath the water
Turbulence and crocodiles. I don’t think you want to put your hand in the water to find out π
How beautiful. The water looks swift flowing.
Yes. We were pretty close to the falls so the water speed was picking up drastically.
I’ve really enjoyed your photos essay of Victoria Falls. It must have been awe-inspiring to be there in person.
It really was Jackie. I’m glad I had the photos to share because I think it would be hard to put in words how beautiful the area is.
I have no words for it than – amazing! π
I agree!
That slightly red sky is gorgeous
I loved the sunsets in Africa—so special.
Very calming feeling.
π The two glasses of wine also helped.
The sky is peaceful and the water looks a bit rough… very nice
Thanks T.F!
I loved it too… So beautiful… Thank you dear TBM, with my love, nia
π Thanks Nia!
I love the purple hues and the velvety blue shades.
