I spotted this fox while I was staying with friends in Fort Collins, Colorado. Photo was taken in February of 2011.

He is so beautiful!! But, he looks like he was getting ready to run if you got any closer. 🙂
I love foxes. I used to see them all the time when I lived in Colorado. I think I saw one in London when I took my dog out early one morning. And you are right, this little guy bolted right after this photo.
Great shot 🙂 Foxes are adorable animals 🙂
Yes they are!
Great sighting.
Thanks!
Ohhh rad! Aren’t they very shy? Are you using a serious zoom or did he let you get that close? (She?)
I was actually inside the house so I’m not sure if he/she saw me. But the fox did leave pretty quickly. I had my small camera so the zoom wasn’t that impressive.
I’ve never seen a fox (except in a zoo). Pretty impressive to me! Thanks for sharing; I love this feature. Keep ’em coming.
I’ll do my best 🙂
This is so lovely dear TBM, so lovely… Thank you, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia!
It’s great you got this shot. They are usually quite elusive.
I know. I tried to get a photo of a fox in London, but it was really early in the morning and I wasn’t completely awake so all I got was a blurry mess.
Great photo!
Thanks Robyn!
He looks fluffier than our London foxes.
I haven’t seen enough of them in London yet. I’ll keep trying to get a photo and to see one so I can compare.
I love foxes… I always feel they are much more cat like than dog like…
I can see that. They are extremely clever and I love watching them in the wild. It is hard to observe them for long though.
What a cutie…
I think so!
How cute! My daughter would love to see a fox in real life.
I’ve seen quite a few in Colorado and I think I saw one in London. They don’t stick around long so you have to be looking for them. I hope she sees one!
What a perfect looking fox. You have such a good eye for shots.
This was pure luck. I was waking up at my friends house as this fox was wandering through the yard. It paused long enough for me to snap this shot. Fortunately I had my camera on the table ready.
He seems to be looking straight at you. I love the golden fur.
I couldn’t tell if he could see me inside the house or if his instincts were on high alert.
Look at that beauty!!! It’s so clean, not like foxes in London 😀
I’ve only caught glimpses of foxes here in London so I can’t really compare. But this little guy in Colorado was beautiful.
I have tons of fox photos from our garden. There’s a fox couple in evidence this spring, and the vixen looks pregnant so I imagine I’ll be taking another load of photos soo. So far I have only seen them at dusk or after dark. They look very solid and healthy.
Oh I would love to see the little ones! That is so exciting. I hope you get loads of photos!
Love this guy’s boots! Great photo.
🙂 They are cute!
