I took this photo in Honduras at night. I liked the colors against the blackness of the night.

What a beautiful flower. I have never seen anything like that here (not that I’m an expert on flowers by any means). And I agree – the black background makes this photo!
Thanks! I was surprised to see this bougainvillea have purple flowers. I had only seen red and pink before.
Looks like a very unusually coloured bougainvillea – gorgeous!
That is my best guess…you are right though, I haven’t seen this color before.
Nice shot.
Thanks!
Perfect photo – wonderful colors 🙂
Thanks! I really liked the colors and this is one of my favorite flowers. We used to have this plant in my backyard when I was a kid.
This is beautiful. Striking!
Thank you!
It’s a beautiful contrast. We have that color, and white also, in the Philippines. 🙂
I haven’t seen white. Yet another wonderful reason to go to the Philippines!
What a great picture, and in the dark.
Thanks T.F!
BEAUTIFUL!!
Thanks!!
Beautiful, wonderful lavender color!
I really loved the color.
So beautiful and bright in the night!
I loved it!
Mother Nature does good work!
Yes she does and I appreciate it!
Pale pinks – I don’t normally like this color – I prefer vivid purples or pristine white or blood-red or even oranges/yellows for my flowers. I like the way you’ve captured it though against the night sky.
Thanks Myra! Vivid flowers are do divine.
