Travel Photo of the Day (Feb. 25)

I took this photo in Honduras at night.  I liked the colors against the blackness of the night.

About TBM

TB Markinson is an American who's recently returned to the US after a seven-year stint in the UK and Ireland. When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in New England, or reading. Not necessarily in that order. Her novels have hit Amazon bestseller lists for lesbian fiction and lesbian romance. She cohosts the Lesbians Who Write Podcast (lesbianswhowrite.com) with Clare Lydon. TB also runs I Heart Lesfic (iheartlesfic.com), a place for authors and fans of lesfic to come together to celebrate lesbian fiction.

  1. What a beautiful flower. I have never seen anything like that here (not that I’m an expert on flowers by any means). And I agree – the black background makes this photo!

  2. Looks like a very unusually coloured bougainvillea – gorgeous!

It’s a beautiful contrast. We have that color, and white also, in the Philippines. 🙂

  6. T. F. Walsh says:

What a great picture, and in the dark.

  7. Fergiemoto says:

    Beautiful, wonderful lavender color!

  8. Kristina says:

So beautiful and bright in the night!

  9. The Hook says:

    Mother Nature does good work!

  10. Pale pinks – I don’t normally like this color – I prefer vivid purples or pristine white or blood-red or even oranges/yellows for my flowers. I like the way you’ve captured it though against the night sky.
