About TBM

TB Markinson is an American who's recently returned to the US after a seven-year stint in the UK and Ireland. When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in New England, or reading. Not necessarily in that order. Her novels have hit Amazon bestseller lists for lesbian fiction and lesbian romance. She cohosts the Lesbians Who Write Podcast (lesbianswhowrite.com) with Clare Lydon. TB also runs I Heart Lesfic (iheartlesfic.com), a place for authors and fans of lesfic to come together to celebrate lesbian fiction.

    • TBM says:

Thanks! I was surprised when I was there. Even though I had to get shots and take medicine for malaria and such, I only got 2 or 3 bug bites after a week there. I was happy with that.

Oooh this one gave me the creepy crawlies. Well done. I love how vibrant that top leaf is. It’s glowing with life!

  4. Fergiemoto says:

Nice capture. I hope the ants didn’t get on you.

  5. Jackie Cangro says:

I was just re-reading a passage in The Poisonwood Bible about a swarm of ants in the Congo that come into this village in the Congo like a river. They knock everyone and everything over in their path. It was an incredible description. Have you ever read that book?

  6. T. F. Walsh says:

I sure wouldn’t want that man ants on me … great shot.

  7. Kristina says:

  8. The Hook says:

  9. Not for the weak-at-heart. Shudder-worthy indeed.
