As I walked through the Garden District in New Orleans, Louisiana, I learned a valuable lesson. Watch your step. The roots of some of the lovely trees are ripping up the sidewalk.

watch your step or you’re going to stumble.. 😛
I did on a few occasions. I’m not known for my grace.
No matter how much progress man makes, nature’s always a force to be reckoned with!
It will always find a way to win!
Especiall for me… with my camera I walk, I can fall… 🙂 Thank you dear TBM, with my love, nia
Yes you need to be careful when you are taking photos!
This is really cool TBM.
Thanks O’Brien!
So true.
🙂 I stumbled along.
Isn’t it amazing how nature can get right in the way of whatever you’re doing, even walking!!! 🙂
Yes it is!
That’s a mighty powerful tree indeed (kindly delete the earlier one – was signed on a different account then, sorry!). 🙂
Many of their trees were ripping up the sidewalks. No worries about the other comment.
Wow, that is dangerous. Makes for a good photo, but the sidewalk is in dire need of a remodel.
I hope they don’t tear the trees down…that would be a real shame.
Nature stops for no one. Not even concrete. 🙂 Blessings to you.
Thanks Sherry. Nature should not be messed with but admired.
Good photo – serious damage!
Thanks Andrew!
Poor imprisoned tree! One day the tree will break trough 🙂 Nicely captured 🙂
I think you are right Kristina.
