Neat shot! They really like to build upwards don’t they? I guess so that they can fit as much in as possible. 🙂
It is interesting to see how they build things differently in other parts of the world.
Ohhh that is lovely!! I want to be THERE!
It is a lovely place to see!
Fabulous image!
Thanks Ruth.
Very cool shot – I like it a lot!
Thanks!!
There’s so much going on in this picture, it’s wonderful.
It is a little, but delightful town. I loved seeing it.
Wonderful… Thank you dear TBM, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia!
Great picture that reminded me of my visit there in 2006 – thanks for the memory nudge!
Glad I could help with the memory nudge. I have many fond memories from Girona.
Buildings like this fascinate me, they look like a house of cards!
I like that description!
Interesting..and a bit scary 😉 Happy Weekend 🙂
Thanks…the picture might come across as scary, but in real life it looks serene.
great one TBM, very good 😉
peace
xandi
Thanks Xandi!
Wow… this is gorgeous! I feel like speaking Spanish, now. 🙂
I wish I spoke Spanish!
I love the architecture and the colors. It is odd because I’m not generally a fan of, nor would want to live in, a place all that jumbled together, but from an art perspective it is a beautiful and interesting landscape.
I’ve been living in large cities now for a few years. We were driving by some countryside this weekend and it looked lovely but I don’t know if I could live there now. I was trying to picture if I would get bored.
I think I could pretty easily live in the countryside, as long as I was in easy driving distance of a bigger city, so that I could scratch the book-buying and movie/play attending itch when needed.
That would be nice. But I enjoy not having to own a car so I may stick to city life for a while longer. The peace and quiet is alluring though. My apartment has been loud inside the building and outside today.
How beautiful, it has a very “dreamy” quality.
Yes I agree with that!
I would love to see this some day. It is intriguing.
Very much so. The whole town has so much history.
Very cool buildings! They look like they’re all stacked. “Building congestion”
LOL…yes!
Minimum bridge with maximum buildings. Great shot.
Thanks Nate!
I like how each building is a different hue of colour… makes it nicer
It does have a cool effect.
Oh! Oh wow! I’m moving – to Spain! 🙂
I would love to move there as well!
This one reminds me a little of parts of Hanoi.
I haven’t been to Hanoi yet but I hope to!
Love how the bridge looks like it is cutting through the buildings. Great shot!
Thank you!!
That’s cool I haven’t been to Girona, looks great 🙂
Kristina you would love it!!!!!!!!!
To be honest, I would love to go anywhere 😀
I think we are alike in that regards 🙂
Looks pretty cozy!
I wouldn’t want to disagree with my neighbors…feels like a tight community.
Reminds me a little of Old Manila and the Walled City (Intramuros) and the buildings around it. 🙂
I’ll have to visit to compare!
