After a difficult hike, we were rewarded by seeing this waterfall in the Pico Bonito Rainforest in Honduras.

  1. Hey, I have a waterfall picture to post tomorrow, but it is definitely not from an exotic place like that!!! That looks positively enchanting!

  2. I think I read about Pico Bonito in an Audubon magazine. Did you see amazing birds?

    • TBM says:

Yes! They are beautiful there. One family that was staying at the lodge had a professional bird guide with them and they were looking for a rare bird. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the bird.

  3. I love waterfalls, and it’s a beautiful photo. thank you!

  4. That must have been a fantastic sight. Did you refresh yourselves with the flowing waters?

Waterfalls are so powerful aren’t they?
    How long was your hike?

    • TBM says:

It wasn’t too long, 1-2 hours. The difficult part was you had to cross slippery rocks. The guide literally pointed out where to step and where to place our hands to get past the dangerous spots.

  9. Lynne Ayers says:

The musical sounds of a waterfall – I would have stayed and listened for a good while … as long as there weren’t any creepy crawlies creeping and crawling.
