This week’s letter for Frizztext’s A-Z archive photo challenge is N. Several years ago I was in New York City to see some tennis matches at the US Open. At the time I was not a huge fan of Rafael Nadal. So when I saw this cab with his picture on it I thought it was funny, since the cab is broken down. However, after watching him play I was able to really appreciate his game and now I consider myself a fan.

I really hope he can get back into top form. He is fun to watch and I’m hoping to be in NYC this fall for the US Open and I would like to see him.

You and my better half. It would be wonderful to see Roger win another major. I hope he does. He’s a great player and from what I hear, a very nice man off the court.
That’s why I like him so much – an absolute gentleman on and off the court. 🙂 (Besides the fact that he’s an excellent tennis player!)
It is fun to see him play. It is almost like watching a dancer. Such fluid motions.

Yes! And now he has mastered all the surfaces, not just clay. He has a great game and is fascinating to watch.
Now that wasn’t quite what I was expecting when I clicked on the link! He’s one of those players with an annoying habit – why does he have to play with his underwear before each point??? I wonder if the broken down cab is in some way symbolic of his knee injury? Great idea for the challenge 🙂
Thanks. That habit is annoying. He is a creature of habit. Have you seen his water bottle routine? Athletes and their rituals fascinate me. I wonder if picking his underwear is another ritual. I’m hoping the knee injury isn’t too bad…he’s had so many injuries as of late I wonder if his career will be shortened. That would be a shame. He has such heart.
It would be a shame if his career was shortened – a great player (just has a couple of annoying habits).
It would be a loss for tennis that’s for sure.
His floating head and hair look quite creepy.
