Travel Photo of the Day (April 14)

I wonder what she is thinking.  I love this photo since the lion looks like she is contemplating life.  I have sat by many rivers in my life to have time to think.   This photo was taken in Zambia.

I think she’s wondering why that strange shaped piece of wood appears to be approaching her through the water – perhaps you should hold a caption competition for this one!
    Lynn 😀

She looks fascinated by that tree (stump?) in the river.

  3. I don’t think I’ve sat down near rivers as often as I would wish. I love this photo for precisely that reason – reminds me of things I have yet to enjoy.

  4. Wonder if she sees something in the water. Another beautiful picture.

  5. I guess animals have their contemplating time too.

I’m sure she just enjoys being there, next to the river, because it calms her and eases any stress she might be feeling… I love water, exactly because of those qualities. 🙂
