Here are two runners in the 2011 Boston Marathon. If you look closely, you can see that one of them is spitting. That wasn’t my intention when I took the photo…let’s just say it was an unexpected bonus.

Every year, I go to watch the NYC marathon since the route passes right through my neighborhood. It’s amazing to watch the elite runners who breeze by you in mere seconds. Don’t blink or you’ll miss them. Amazing that you got this shot!

They run again today. Weather expected in mid to high 80’s. The marathon authorities are trying to encourage the, shall we say “less fit”, to not run.
