This week’s letter for Frizztext’s A-Z archive photo challenge is P. I stumbled upon this peacock in Holland Park in London a couple of weeks ago. He was busy grooming himself and didn’t seem too pleased to be caught in a private moment. His glare scared me and I left him in peace.

A real dandy! Gorgeous and he knows it! 🙂
Yes he does!
WOW! As if greeting you 🙂 Wonderful photograph, Thank you dear TBM, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia!
Oh he is beautiful! Glad you left him be, though, he looks as if he was a tad perturbed at the grooming interruption!!
He wasn’t happy…I would be mad if someone took a photo of me grooming 🙂
True true!!! Especially if it was in a delicate area…
Good point!
Oooh, he looks downright pissed off, but he’s still gorgeous!! Nice shot. 🙂
I didn’t want him to get even madder!
I love the unique pose he’s in and how different this shot is as a result. Gorgeous!
Thanks! He gets all the credit for the pose. I doubt he would have listened to any directions 🙂
I love the way you caught his stare full-on!
He has an intense look.
I’ve heard that they’re mean little criters!
I haven’t heard that, but I can believe it. I’ll stay out of his way that’s for sure.
What a beautiful bird. Love how the blue stands out. And yes, the stare is a little frightening.
I wouldn’t want to fight him.
Wonderful blue!
He has vivid colors.
Will be joining the challenge now! So inspired by this peacock. 🙂
That’s great. It is a fun challenge. I love seeing other interpretations!
Wow! He’s gorgeous, but I wouldn’t mess with him. 😊 Great picture!
Thanks! I think he’s a beauty as well and a tough guy.
Really beautiful. Was he hiding his plumes, though?
Last year I was fortunate to see a mommy peacock with her chicks at a park. They were adorable – but clearly not majestic like this one.
They are facing down on the other side of the fence. I would love to see the babies. I wonder if there will be any soon at the park.
Looks so haughty and proud!
Haughty is a good word for him.
that glare would scare me too
He’s a smart guy!
They have expressions like stern old school masters!
I had a few of those in my days…The thought of them still makes me shudder.
a proud peacock, indeed!
Yes and I caught him when he was vulnerable…and he let me know I was in trouble!
That is a beauty! His plumage seems like a crocheted wrap!!
He is gorgeous.
Such beautiful birds! I love the proud display of their feathers. A great shot!
Their feathers are amazing!
Fantastic capture! That is one heck of a glare. lol!
It stopped me in my tracks!
