Wow cool lizard-thingy… how big was it? o.O
His body was a little under a foot long and then his tail added some.
He looks prehistoric… 🙂
Yes!
Wow, what a perfect, clear shot. Love it!!
Thanks Cindy!
Gorgeous! Is it a basilisk?
Maybe it escaped from Hogwarts.
I would have been slightly scared to run across one of these. We’ve had a bad iguana problem here in Florida. They are everywhere and also quite aggressive… as fascinating as they are to at… I always stay far away from them.
These guys were all over in Honduras where we stayed…we didn’t have any issues, but they are kinda scary looking. I hope you don’t have any issues in Florida.
Is he on a stake-out?
For dinner!
We can safely called him as yellow eared lizard 😉
Thanks Kroten!
Very well caught!
Thanks Gilly!
amazing photo – so still and clear
He wasn’t still for long!
Now this lizard looks like he just had a tattoo! How fierce!
He does look tough.
Great pic. Made me smile.:)
Thanks Isobel.
Is it an Iguana ? Great shot!
I think so, but I’m not positive.
Nice shot! Such a cool looking character!
I bet he has some stories!
One of my fav motives are amphibians as they are cute and threatened with extinction! Ann
They are cute in their own way. I love all creatures…I hope they survive. It would be such a shame. All of us are connected.
Oh my God! Well captured, but makes me afraid as if it was here on my keyboard and looking at me… 🙂 Thanks and Love, nia
I’m trying to imagine him writing on your keyboard 🙂
Wonderful photo! The little fellow looks so intent.
Yes…maybe he had spotted dinner.
