Our dog Miles usually hates when we travel since most of the time he has to stay home. However, when we can we take him with. I took this photo during a day trip to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. I’m pretty sure he liked the trip.
And he found a tennis ball! Not sure if I want to know where he found it. All that mattered was that he was a happy camper.

My dogs hate it when we travel. They actually go on hunger strike when we are gone and throw up all over the house! We found a new dog sitter and they love her so things have been a bit better.
I know what you are talking about. Our dog and cat hate it. As soon as they see the luggage they start acting up. We have a couple of sitters who they love, but they still punish us by sulking. I’m happy to hear that your dogs love their sitter. It does make things easier to have someone you know who is taking care of them like you would.
So lovely one and so adorable… Thank you dear TBM, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia…I think he’s pretty cute 🙂 And he makes me laugh all of the time with the crazy stuff he does.
Is your doggy a Boston Terrier?
Yes he is, but he is small for his breed. Everyone always asks if he is a puppy but he’s 8. Some will argue with me and tell me that he has to be a puppy. I find that humorous since I’ve lived with him for the past 6 years. There is a Boston Terrier down the street and he looks huge next to Miles.
My one sister always had a Boston Terrier too – that’s her bred. I go back to my Schnauzers every time. It is my 4the time this one I have at the moment.
This is my first Boston and I love him so I can see why your sister loves them as well. He is so full of energy and personality. I’ve never had a Schnauzer or really been around one. I’ll have to look into their breed.
Cute pup. It sure doesn’t take much to make a dog happy, does it? Too bad most people aren’t so easy to please. 🙂
That is very true. I often wonder what it is like to be Miles and to always see the wonderful aspects of a dirty leftover tennis ball or something along those lines. It made his day and I don’t think I would have been too impressed. We could learn so much if we tried.
What a cutie! Our son’s name is Miles.
Thanks Patricia…Miles is a great name!
Aww, so cute 🙂
Thanks Robyn.
Cute little Miles! Adorable! Our dogs always got excited about road trips.
He is the same way…he gets excited to go anywhere. Now that we live in London, he can go to the pubs but we haven’t tried it yet. I’m waiting for warm weather so we can sit outside and not annoy the other patrons with his energy.
It is so much more fun when you can take the dog too. Maybe a boating holiday for all of you this summer, cruising the canals on a narrow boat?
That does sound fun…Miles hates the water so I don’t think I’d have to worry about him jumping over. Unless he dropped a toy. He might need a life jacket 🙂
Hello Miles 🙂
We should see more of you here 😉
Oh he agrees since that would mean he would be able to travel with us all of the time.
Cute! Our dogs never travel with us, but they sometimes hop on the ‘bakkie’ (truck) when we go to the farm. They love it!
Ah Miles would love to go to a farm. He enjoys running and being free! I bet your dogs have a blast. I think I would enjoy it as well 🙂
