If I had to stick my butt up in the air to eat I would probably starve to death. I might have been more willing when I was in my 20s and didn’t have to worry each summer if I would fit into my summer clothes. This little guy is much braver than me or hungrier. And the ringlets on the tail are adorable. I took this photo at The Serpentine in Hyde Park, London.

I loved it so much… How lovely they are with their diving 🙂 This is amazing shot. Thank you, with my love, nia
Thanks Nia!
I wouldn’t dare even if I was starving 🙂 Love those ringlets!
At least not in public 🙂
That is such an awesome picture!!! The little curlie q’s on the tail—-never saw those before on a duck! Love it!
I got a giggle out of those ringlets. So adorable. Thanks Beth Ann.
And even if you did stick your butt up in the air to eat I would hope that you would have pants on!!! Sorry, but I couldn’t resist. I’m finally done work for the week and I’m a little goofy 🙂
Hey if Donald Duck doesn’t have to wear pants neither do I. You can be as goofy as you want. Is that where Daniel gets it from?
Yup!! I live in a very noisy and crazy house 🙂
This is so cute!
Thanks. I agree. Animals make me smile.
You’ve managed to capture a portrait of the American public. LOL. Sometimes you just have to laugh at sad situations.
This guy did make me laugh.
LOL. Thanks for putting a smile on my face. Both you and our little web-footed friend. 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed it Daniel. I hope your writing is going well. Since my family has been in town I haven’t had much time to check in on blogs. I should be back next week 🙂 I hope all is well.
Thanks TBM. I appreciate it. Best wishes to you and your family. I look forward to future posts. 🙂
teeeeheee… made me chuckle!! 🙂 **
I’m glad.
I see lots of duck butts around here but not as pretty as that one lol… it’s so pretty it almost looks like a penguin face!!!
It does!
So funny, made a picture just like this when I was in Verona last week. Hope it wasn’t a female duck though, making pictures of her butt 😀
I find this way of eating to be pretty funny…but if it was me, I wouldn’t want people laughing at me. I won’t tell this duck about the comments.
So adorable! This put a smile on my face. I wish my back side was as flattering as this little guys =)
Me too! The little curls are just adorable.
Maybe he’s got his two pin curls as a consolation prize for bottoms up fishing!
That is a good way of looking at it.
(My mother always accused me of being Pollyanna!) 🙂
Awww, that s so adorable 🙂
I loved it!
My mind went back to 2009, Stratford-upon-Avon, when I first saw the photo. Thank you for trip to the recent past 😉
Great shot, the curls are adorable!
Glad I could bring back some happy memories. I visited Stratford-upon-Avon last week and loved it.
What a great take :D. I can’t wait to see your list of challenges 😀
I’m always trying to come up with new ways to find challenges that bring me fun.
Shucks that is adorable…bum ringlets…who would have thought
Bum ringlets…I love it!
If I had a cute butt like that, I suppose I wouldn’t mind showing it off. Great shot. 🙂
Seriously…I can never complete with this creature and the cute butt.
This is adorable! I’ve never seen such ringlets on a duck either. Well done!
Thanks Jenn…I loved the ringlets.
Ha, ha…a mooning duck! So cute, especially those little ringlets. I wonder if those ringlets are high maintenance (just kidding). Great photo!
I wonder how he or she kept them so perfect and clean 🙂
Haha! I love going to the park to feed the ducks. They are so sweet and seemingly carefree 🙂
If you visit Hyde Park in London there are tons of ducks to feed.
Ha… what a cute photo… love it when ducks do that.
It does make me smile.
I feel like this… A LOT!
I should come over for dinner to see for myself 🙂
Sunny side up! How cute. 🙂
This is ADORABLE! I do love the ringlets on the tail too
