Weekly Photo Challenge: Today

It is raining in London today and for this challenge I didn’t want to venture too far.  So I snapped a couple of photos on my balcony.  Here are some strawberries that I’m growing and I might eat them for dessert tonight.

This reminds me that while I am not a fan in any way of the scorching heat and dripping humidity of summer, that heat produces such wonderful, taste-bud exploding delicacies in the form of fresh fruit and veg. Yum!

I used to grow tulips in my window boxes when I lived in London but never thought to grow strawberries – how wonderfully original!
