Inside Versailles I wasn’t able to get too many photos since there was a large crowd, the lighting wasn’t fantastic (flash is not allowed), and to be honest, I was overwhelmed by everything inside. I love the expression on this woman’s face. I think I looked like that much of the time when I was wandering through all the rooms. Sometimes I didn’t know where to begin so I could see as much as possible. This photo was taken in The Hall of Mirrors.

Amazing! I also wouldn’t know where to start..
My photos have those same crowds.
Magnificent chandeliers.
This photo doesn’t really do justice to the vastness of the hall and the richness. This is one place that it is really better to see for yourself in order to understand why it is so awe-inspiring.
Oh this picture is beautiful! I’ve always wanted to go to Versailles!
You really make me wanna get on a plane 🙂
WOW! Amazing
Oh my – I loved this hall!!!! Back then though my camera was not up to par to take worthy photos without a flash in a place like that!!! So it is great reliving many memories through your photos!! Thanks!! 🙂 **
It is a bit breath taking, isn’t it? 🙂
I still haven’t been to Versailles. Thought sure that I would get there the last time I visited Paris, but alas – transportation strike and other events intervened. I say it is saving itself, waiting to be the lone star in my journey. At least it is calling me back to Paris, yet again.
Amazing place to walk through! I still remember my trip there. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
Yes, those paintings kind of leave you staggered. All that beauty in one place. Thanks for the memories!
It not easy to photograph there iconic places. There is always a lot of people staring like us.
You did a good job. I believe the best pictures are in your memory 🙂
It is hard to beat my memories. The pictures help bring them back, but in my mind they are better. Thanks.
Totally agree with you…I never know where to point and shoot first. I tend to go overboard, as you can tell when I opt to do slideshows. Too many photos to choose from so I let the viewers choose what they like to look at from among them. Problem solved!
🙂
That is a good way of handling it!
