Happy Friday! I’m “out of the office” today. Here’s a photo I took during my ramble through the Tiergarten in Berlin. I hope all of you have a marvelous weekend! Don’t forget, the Olympics are starting!

Lovely and soothing picture!!! I could so curl up on a blanket with a book there!!! I am very excited about the Olympics here so I can not imagine what it must be like to be in London!!! 🙂
It is one huge party in my hood. So festive and fun!
I bet!!!
I have my tv set ready to switch channels for the opening ceremony the highlight of which will of course be……Duran Duran 😀
A friend of ours went to Hyde Park to see Duran Duran. I was jealous!
I was under the impression they would link it up the opening ceremony was very disappointed and am also very very jealous of your friend
I thought they would as well and kept waiting.
just watching the murray brothers play tennis now
I think I saw that they lost. Such a shame, I know it meant a lot to them.
Yeah it is his individual match later today
Oooh, that’s just beautiful! Happy first day of the Olympics TBM!! Have fun! I was thinking – have you taken a photo of the Olympic countdown clock in Trafalgar Square? If not, you should get one before it’s gone. Daniel saw it when he was there, but if you took a shot today the countdown time would be 00:00:00!!
I’ve taken a few photos but not when it clicked down to zero. I wish I had though!
That’s ok, just having a photo of the clock at all is a once in a lifetime memory!!
I agree!
Lovely photo.
And–with the media coverage cranking up over here, you’d have to be living under a rock to forget that the Olympics are starting!
The Olympics have been present ever since I arrived here last September. All the preparation and such was always in the news.
And we watched a Rick Steves episode about Berlin last night!
I should watch it and relive parts of our trip. Berlin is a great place to visit!
look at that reflection…wow
Thanks Jo.
I wish you a nice weekend also!
Thanks Hanna. I hope you are having a blast.

I’m jealous. Berlin is a fun town!
I m always happy when we leave Berlin lol For me, Hamburg is the better city, more green and so 😉
I haven’t been to Hamburg yet, hopefully I will be able to compare the two.
For sure you will love Hamburg 😀
I have no doubt!
I’ll be watching the Olympics on TV 🙂
Me too!
