Ailsa’s prompt this week is flowers. After reading her post the first place that popped into my head was Honduras. Our flights, I think we had two, were delayed when we traveled to Honduras. So late that we didn’t arrive until after midnight. When we entered our cabin that night we had no clue where we were or what it looked like. The night was pitch black. The next morning we opened the door to our cabin and saw a tropical paradise. I can still remember that feeling of seeing so much beauty at once. Here are some of the flowers.

Wow, this is really beautiful. Love the bright colors of all of them
Aren’t they neat and the colors…they blew me away!
Exquisite colours 🙂
Nature is wonderful!
Ah…beeeeeeeaautiful! And some of them smell so good too! It must have really felt like paradise. 🙂
It was paradise and I didn’t want to leave. I wasn’t a big fan of the snakes though 🙂
Simply beautiful! I could wake up to that :).
It was cool to open the door and to see all this beauty.
Beautiful flowers. At first I didn’t think they were real. They look so perfect.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
I felt the same way when I saw them.
The last one my favorite.
That’s a cool one!
Wonderful!
Thanks Robin!
Beautiful photos!!
Thanks Robyn!
Great shots! As the inexperienced photographer that I am, when taking photos of flowers, I always wonder if I should zoom in to one flower or zoom out to get the surrounding leaves. How do you decide?
I cheat. I take tons of photos and see which ones I like. I zoom in, take pics from different angels, and such. I drive the better half crazy taking so many photos.
su pretty and so unusual some of them
Some are quite strange I wondered if they were real.
Beautiful – big fan of franjipani, had never knew it existed before Mauritius then I had my bath tub decorated in its funky flowers and fragrance and loved it!
Love how exciting nature is. Thank you for sharing
Nature proves to me every day that there is so much to learn and to love.
they are so beautiful, so beautiful. Thank you dear TBM, love, nia
Thanks Nia.
Lovely array – and great capture of the bee!

I stared at a lot of them since I agree, they are different.
Fabulous shots – that plumeria is exquisite, I can almost smell it from here! xxx Ailsa
Thanks Ailsa. The flowers astounded me in Honduras.
Oh wow, I should have joined this travel theme. I have lots of flower photos!
You still can. I would love to see them!
Lovely flowers! It’s such an added bonus when you can capture a photo of an insect, also. Great shots!
It was kind of the insect to cooperate.
Beautiful flowers TBM!
