Have you ever played such an intense game of patty-cake that you had to take a nap afterwards?
If this was an Olympic sport, I think this little guy would be a star. I took these photos yesterday during the Men’s Triathlon in London.

Ok, since you are right there in the midst of the Olympics, I think you should make an appearance before the Olympic committee and suggest patty-cake as a new Olympic sport. It would be amazing!! I would totally get the gold medal :).
You better start training then!
Working on it right nowxiw.eih. Oops, it’s hard to type and play patty-cake at the same time. LOL 🙂
Good thing you aren’t chewing gum as well. That might be hard to get out of the keyboard.
Is that why my keys are sticking?!?! 🙂
I love it. Keeps small ones busy while adults are watching Olympics
Exactly. It’s important that kids can entertain themselves. And these two, who are think are brothers, were cute to watch. At one point it looked like they were telling jokes and they would both just giggle.
How cute! Our future Olympians.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
I wish them luck!
So cute. And no, I never played patty cake to this extreme!!! 🙂
I was never into patty cake, but I loved to play sports with my buddies growing up.
That made me laugh…hehe:)
Me too! Thanks!
That is so cute! I’ve played Rock Paper Scissors until I needed a nap…recently. 😉
Good for you! We should never lose that playful side.
haha! Yes, I have. What a little cutie. Loving his cool kicks!
Shoes are big here. All people, including kids, have really cool shoes.
What a little champ! 🙂
He’ll go far in his sport!
🙂
Aww, he’s cute 🙂
Kids, they always make me smile.
Awesome!!!!
did your boys play like this?
Nope—not patty cake at least!!! 🙂 And if the younger one would tell you he would say he got pounded by his older brother…..though I don’t think it was really all that bad. I think his memory is a tad distorted on that one since I did not allow that type of behavior!
Great fun – rock, paper, scissors is a big favourite in my house – we’re all a bunch of big kids and we have to resort to such things simply to resolve who will answer the door or the phone!
Not played patty-cake since school!
Lynn 😀
Yes! We do that as well. It settles who has to go downstairs for the next round of beers.
but don’t you love the intensity of children
I do. It’s a shame that most of us loose this feeling.
That’s so cute! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen patty cake played, or even played myself. It can be intense. Poor kids, but at least they are getting some rest now.
I wish I could sleep anywhere I needed to. It was so loud at the race, but it didn’t seem to bother him.
Made me smile. 🙂
Kids have a way of doing that.
