This week’s prompt from Ailsa is Red. This past summer in England I’ve seen a lot of red.

Fabulous! All – except for the Canadian flag – such iconic London images 🙂
I remember how excited I was when I first saw these images when I arrived. I don’t notice them as much now, which is a shame.
It’s inevitable, I’m afraid, but isn’t it great that the challenge gave you a chance to remember your initial feelings of excitement at actually being there where these things were a facet of everyday life 🙂
That is a good way of looking at it. Thanks!
Yeah – you can’t be taking your adventure for granted! 🙂
Wonderful shots TBM.
Thanks Madhu.
Great images – love the Canadian flag. Thanks for adding it to this weeks theme.
I’m glad you liked it.
Must show this to Big Man – he always comments on how much red he sees in the UK!
I sorta agree with him 🙂
Yayyyy, a Canadian flag!!! Now that’s an awesome choice for the red category :).
I thought you might like that 🙂
Red is such a bright, happy colour! A tiny bit goes a long way! 🙂 I love your pics.
It does catch the eye. Thanks Zelmare.
Perfect pictures for the theme!
Thanks!
Love the woman on the phonebox.
I thought it was funny, the police though didn’t get the joke and made her get down.
Great work on using red as a theme. 🙂
Thanks Frank.
great shot…that’s a lot of red for one country 😉
It is, but most days I don’t notice it.
Wonderful shots of red in the UK. Always love seeing the solders in their red uniforms and the iconic red telephone booth.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks Francine.
I bet you’re glad you collected these!
Yes! They came in handy.
You have found a lot of notable reds!
They just pop up all over here.
Vibrant RED! I love the woman on the phone boot as well.
I’m not sure I could get up there.
I love those phone boxes! Did you know that we don’t have public phone booths anymore? Unless its at a train station or the air port. We do however have phone charging stations. $2.00 for 10min. weeeeird.
They aren’t very popular in the States either. Charging stations are the wave of the future, but I kinda like the red phone booths here.
Great “red” photos!
Thanks Fergiemoto!
Soo much red in London! NIce!
Yes I agree there is a lot of red in London. Black and white and red was what I thought when I was there.
The red does stand out here. Thanks for stopping by!
This is a great series of shots–you really captured a moment in time, and each shot fit perfectly into the theme!
Thanks Naomi!
All perfect for the theme 🙂
