Travel Photo of the Day (November 17)

Niagara Falls. Photo taken from my hotel room on the Canadian side.

About TBM

TB Markinson is an American who's recently returned to the US after a seven-year stint in the UK and Ireland. When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in New England, or reading. Not necessarily in that order. Her novels have hit Amazon bestseller lists for lesbian fiction and lesbian romance. She cohosts the Lesbians Who Write Podcast (lesbianswhowrite.com) with Clare Lydon. TB also runs I Heart Lesfic (iheartlesfic.com), a place for authors and fans of lesfic to come together to celebrate lesbian fiction.

Hey I’ve been there, but I was a tourist on the Canadian side. Truely one of mother natures most beautiful site. That photo brought back some good memories. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice rainbow.

  12. Awesome shot! I may have worked in the hotel you stayed in! Thanks for the memories.

    • TBM says:

maybe. I can’t remember which hotel we were in. It was tall, but that doesn’t help much here.

      • If you ate at a Keg restaurant on the 9th floor – I worked there! Did you go out for a steak dinner?

      • TBM says:

I don’t remember the Keg restaurant or a steak dinner. Man I’m getting old–we only stayed one night after spending two nights in Toronto for a Pearl Jam concert. I wish we had more time to spend there, but I had to be at work on Monday and we had to drive back to Boston. It was a long drive, but the scenery was great. I didn’t know upstate NY was so green.

That’s what I call a great view – beautiful picture!

  15. One of my dream places to go after seeing a Superman movie as a kid where he rescued the falling Lois Lane. Magical picture just like how I saw it the first time. Thanks.

  16. Lynne Ayers says:

From that height the falls look rather small though I know they are not. Last year I re-visited the falls for the first time in over 40 years. Still an impressive site although Niagara itself has changed somewhat 😦

  17. Myra GB says:

Awesome truly is an understatement. Hope to see Niagara falls too in the near future. 🙂 I just read Queen of the Falls by Chris Van Allsburg – a picture book biography of a woman who has ‘conquered’ the falls. Will be posting it for Nonfiction Monday soon.

  18. Nice i was there 😉
