Growing up in Southern California robbed me of experiencing seasons. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed my years there, but when I moved to a place with seasons I was dazzled. Each change of weather impresses me more and more as I get older. I love watching nature put on a show. This autumn has been beautiful.

I love autumn too, and am sorry it is drawing to an end–but now we have Christmas to look forward to and those infernal mystery photos!
From the sounds of it, we won’t know the mystery this week. We need to get even!
I already promised not to complain too much this week–but next week–watch out–you will have to take the slack up for me this week – lol
I’ll do my best. Did she drop any hints, besides hard? I need a plan of attack.
we could break into her house and watch her as she takes the picture– won’t she be surprised when we guess righ?
Can we locate a spy cam?
you are so smart–you are a little far away to break in with me–I am only about three hours away from her if you drive swiftly by night and do not stop for the red lights
Too late, I already took the picture a few days ago, and I take these photos at various locations, so you will never catch me! Mwah ha ha!!!
That’s what you think. We’ve been following your every move, but we guess wrong each week so you don’t know. Then we came up with the whining plan—worked like a charm.
You always have a comeback don’t you? LOL!!!
I don’t know what your talking about. I saw on a show last night a therapist said that a person in a relationship shouldn’t always try to have the last word since there are no winners. The relationship should win, not one of the people. Dude that lady has no idea what she’s talking about. I always win!
Tsk, tsk, all these little planning sessions behind my back LOL!! You two better behave yourselves or I will make you organize something :).
Good luck with that one…I’ve never organized anything in my life. Your definition and mine are completely different–trust me
They are lovely! My favorites are the falling leaves and the pumpkins 🙂
Fully agree with you. As a South African where the seasonal change is also not as prominent, I loved this year we were granted to live in Europe with this spectacular colour changes of autumn
Growing up without it makes you appreciate the beauties it provides!
I envy you these colours 🙂
The fall leaves and pumpkins are my favorites. Great shots all the way around. Thanks for playing!!!!
I love the autumn colors too! Nice photos!
The latest huge snowstorm we had last weekend took down our vibrant colors, but it sure was pretty while it lasted.
Such beautiful colours. We have gone from bitterly cold Winter to hot and muggy days back to freezing cold. Summer is coming, I’m sure of it…

I believe the jewel tones of the fall season are the best colors of the year.
