Ailsa’s prompt this week is liquid. At first I thought of posting photos of lakes, rivers, and waterfalls I’ve encountered on my travels. However, the holidays have arrived. This time of year I tend to get a little homesick. So I decided to post some photos I took at Chestnut Hill Reservoir. Miles and I would walk there nearly every day. I’m not sure which one of us loved it more.

Very nice photographs…
I was just there this weekend. It told me to say hi to you and tell you to come back to visit.
Ah, thanks!
I can see why both of you loved it. what is tha building on the shore ?
It’s a tiny building for the waterworks. This reservoir is the back up water supply.
Ohhhhh…interesting
Aww, it looks a nice home to miss. Can you take terrapins for a walk?
Just look at those geese, I love them!
🙂
Beautiful. Looks like a great walking spot.
What a beautiful spot to walk. I usually do my walk around the coast line and it follows the beach 🙂
You always have the nicest photos of places I want to go and visit.
That looks like a lovely walk! I really like turtles, so the turtle photo is my fave!
Serene views.
I love the turtles. Few people seem to capture them in action. Nice.
Love the turtles!
Lovely pictures.
Thanks
Lynn 😀
