Over so soon

Where did last week go? It seems like yesterday that I wrote that I would be taking time off and now it’s time to get back to work. I have lots to catch up, including all of your blogs. Some of you may be wondering what I did with my time off. We went out of town for a few days and I have a few stories from our trip. I’ll post a photo below to see if you can guess where. We joined a gym. Yep, even though I’m not a gym person, I now officially belong to one and hope to go several times a week. There’s a reason for this—and a deadline. I hope to write more about that later this week. I did a walking tour in London that was enjoyable and informative. And I read some—not enough, but when do I ever have time to read enough.

Now I have a pile of work that is staring at me demanding my attention. I miss my vacation time. I hope all is well with everyone and I missed our friendly chats.

  2. Hmmmm, how about Slovakia, Czech Republic, or Hungary?? Where ever it is, you are soooo lucky to be close to so many amazing countries! Holidays are never long enough though are they? We’re glad that you are back though – you were misssed terribly :).

Being so close to the continent was a big reason why we decided to move to London. And for the mystery photos, can I start having three guesses? So your guess is Central Europe–we’ll see!

  3. I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that you might actually be at borough market in London and just trying to throw us off with your exotic christmas treats.

  4. Colline says:

Welcome back. Hmmmm … based on the only thing that is a hint in my eyes, somewhere in eastern Europe … and I want to try that pastry.

I think I am the one who need holiday now…at least once my school exam is over.

were you in Germany last week? just guessing from the photo 😉

    • TBM says:

A holiday after exams is a must. I hope you get some relaxation. We were in the Czech Republic.

      • Novroz says:

I should tell you that I am the one giving exam 😉
It’s the busiest time for teachers…preparing exam, giving score and make end of semester’s report (@.@)

Ah! I thought it was Germany because it looks like that beer festival I saw in TV. Looking forward to read about your adventure in Czech 🙂

      • TBM says:

My guess for the photo is also the Christmas market in Germany.

  14. Carol says:

I have no clue where you were, but it looks lovely and festive.

Holidays always fly by. Never done any of the Crimble markets so I’ll pass on the guessing.
