Where did last week go? It seems like yesterday that I wrote that I would be taking time off and now it’s time to get back to work. I have lots to catch up, including all of your blogs. Some of you may be wondering what I did with my time off. We went out of town for a few days and I have a few stories from our trip. I’ll post a photo below to see if you can guess where. We joined a gym. Yep, even though I’m not a gym person, I now officially belong to one and hope to go several times a week. There’s a reason for this—and a deadline. I hope to write more about that later this week. I did a walking tour in London that was enjoyable and informative. And I read some—not enough, but when do I ever have time to read enough.
Now I have a pile of work that is staring at me demanding my attention. I miss my vacation time. I hope all is well with everyone and I missed our friendly chats.
Welcome dear TBM, I am glad to hear that it was a nice time in the city. I wonder now all your photographs 🙂 Thank you, love, nia
Thanks Nia!
Hmmmm, how about Slovakia, Czech Republic, or Hungary?? Where ever it is, you are soooo lucky to be close to so many amazing countries! Holidays are never long enough though are they? We’re glad that you are back though – you were misssed terribly :).
Being so close to the continent was a big reason why we decided to move to London. And for the mystery photos, can I start having three guesses? So your guess is Central Europe–we’ll see!
I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that you might actually be at borough market in London and just trying to throw us off with your exotic christmas treats.
Now why didn’t I think of that. No wonder you always get the mystery photo. How did you do last Friday?
I was first and right again, I suspect I’m wrong here but it was worth a punt
She says the photo this Friday will be easy–I think she’s playing with us.
she’s mean like that
Tell me about it. And what happened to our chocolate!
Mwah ha ha!!!!
That does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling.
Awww, I’m sorry :(. Tee hee!!
I don’t think you’re supposed to laugh after apologizing. Now when can you start dropping hints about your photo.
I have to figure out what it is going to be first :).
I thought you said it would be easy. how do you know if you don’t know what it is!
Ummmmmm….. LOL
Welcome back. You have intrigued me with hints of your future posts – I look forward to them.
Thanks Colline. I’m pretty excited about some upcoming adventures!
Amintrigued by the photo and by what you are going to tell us next!
A lot happened on this trip…
Looks like Prague to me! I love that city!
Now I know why!
“Time flies..” isn’t just a saying, it’s a statement of fact!
Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana.
Welome back!!! Have no clue where you were and the upcoming posts sound like they will be full of mystery !!! 🙂 Looking forward to hearing (and seeing) it all!
Stay tuned! This was a fun one! Actually all of them are, even the mishaps turn into great stories. After I recover from my embarrassment usually.
Embarrassment is my middle name so I can identify.
Does your face turn vivid red as well? I swear it takes me a nanosecond to turn into a tomato.
Not as bad as I used to be when I was younger but yes—-beet red in my case!
Glad to hear you can control it more. Not I
Welcome back. Hmmmm … based on the only thing that is a hint in my eyes, somewhere in eastern Europe … and I want to try that pastry.
The pastry was tasty!
That a way, rub it in … have you told us the location?
Me, rubbing it in. Prague
Welcome back TBM 🙂
I think I am the one who need holiday now…at least once my school exam is over.
were you in Germany last week? just guessing from the photo 😉
A holiday after exams is a must. I hope you get some relaxation. We were in the Czech Republic.
I should tell you that I am the one giving exam 😉
It’s the busiest time for teachers…preparing exam, giving score and make end of semester’s report (@.@)
Ah! I thought it was Germany because it looks like that beer festival I saw in TV. Looking forward to read about your adventure in Czech 🙂
I do remember those days when I taught. So much work. I hope you can rest soon
Looks like the Christmas market in Munich?
we considered Munich but decided on Prague.
Great choice. I think Prague is one of most beautiful cities in the world.
Yea! You’re back! I missed you! My first thought was Germany, but I don’t know… And I’m very curious as to your “deadline” – I think I can guess what that’s about, but I won’t.
Oh please tell me what you think it is!
My guess for the photo is also the Christmas market in Germany.
Close. We were at the Christmas markets in Prague.
I have no clue where you were, but it looks lovely and festive.
It was quite festive and a great experience. Thanks Carol!
Holidays always fly by. Never done any of the Crimble markets so I’ll pass on the guessing.
It always makes me sad that the time I set aside for my loved ones goes by too quickly. we do our best to cherish our time together but it’s never enough.
I’d have to say you went to Prague. I love, love, love Prague and have fond memories of visiting there!!!! 🙂
It’s a great city!!!!!!!! And you are correct!
Yay! Thought so. 🙂
🙂
Welcome home..Maybe Tivoli Gardens?
Good guess, but no. I was in Tivoli last July though.
Good to have you back!! as for the photo I’d guess the Christmas Market in Prague?
Thanks. And you are spot on!
*dancing* 😀
Beautiful place!! Loving the Christmas market. Looks like being in a storybook 🙂
The whole city feels that way. It’s wonderful!
Lovely ! Glad you had a great time 🙂 not been to Prague would like to tho!
I hope you do!
I have been there!!!!!
It is one of the most beautiful cities of the world, do not agree? It is magic, specially at night….We had a wonderful time there!!!
I do agree with you! I wish I was there right now, sipping mulled wine and taking it all in.
🙂
I’m clueless. Will have to wait until you tell me. It sure is a beautiful photo.
I was in Prague–such a great city!!!!!
Extraordinary place! Definitely in my Top 5 European cities. And great shot!
Not sure I’ve seen enough of Europe to rate my top 5, but it is an amazing city.
