I have a confession. I am woefully unprepared for December. Christmas cards are not sent because I haven’t written them yet. I did purchase the stamps yesterday though. Presents—I probably should do something about that. Decorations, well we don’t put many up since Atticus and Miles destroy them during the night so I don’t have to worry about that. Then there’s work. Pub visits. Spending time with friends and loved ones. Basically I want to say that my daily travel photos will reappear after January 1st. Please forgive me. Even though the holidays happen the same time every year, I can never manage to get my act together. Maybe that should be a New Year’s Resolution.

Have fun and enjoy the holidays. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
You too Francine!
New Year’s resolutions are just a way to make yourself feel bad later.
Don’t worry, I’m too lazy to write them down, let alone remember them
Love your honesty 🙂
Thanks–this time of year always drives me batty, but I have fun. Have a happy holiday
Forgiven!
Can you teach Att that word?
Enjoy your Christmas holidays and we will see you again in January 🙂
You too Colline!
You are not the only one. I’ve bought a few small gifts but nothing major. I can’t be excited. Maybe because this the first year that my mother is not with us.
My thoughts are with you and your family. Holidays do stir up a lot of emotions. Take care
Send New Year’s cards instead of Christmas cards. One less thing to deal with before Dec 25th and you will stand out from the rest when your card arrives after the masses. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself. 😉
That’s a great plan…more than likely, mine will show up for Valentine’s day. Have a festive holiday!
honestly, i started slacking on that long time ago…I have successfully managed expectations… 🙂 theres always next year
Managed expectations—great way to put it! Happy Holidays!
everyone celebrates in their own lovely way–do not be hard on yourself
Thanks. happy holidays!
See you Friday at looney girl’s blog
But not too early–probably will need to cheat 😉
ha ha
Wahhhhhhhhhh!!!! You can’t be serious :(. I can’t get through my days without seeing your posts and talking back and forth. Well, if that’s the way it has to be, I for one can’t wait for the new year to begin :). Enjoy the holiday season TBM – hope it is magical for you and yours!!
Enjoy your holidays with the fam…and don’t forget the chocolate!
Mmmmmm, chocolate 🙂
I’ll look forward to the return of your travel photos in the New Year!!! 🙂 Happy Holidays!!!
You too Susi!
it’s a crazy time of year…no forgiveness needed
Crazy but fun. I want to focus on the fun
I know just how you feel, it can be overwhelming at this time of year, enjoy your break even if it isn’t a rest!
tis the season. have a wonderful holiday Gilly!
Spending time with friends and loved ones is the most important – we´ll still be here when you get back. Have a wonderful Christmas!
You as well, wherever you end up!
take my lazy tree hugger stance that I’ve used for years now, say it low and slow “cards are like bad for the environment maaaan, they destroy trees and stuff” With this simple phrase I have managed to avoid the agony of any card purchases christmas or otherwise and if people still insist on giving me cards I thank them and apologise for my stance while still sticking to it.
Dang it, I already bought them. But we opted for postcards. Don’t have to write too much on them. I appreciate your stance. Stay strong!
You are not alone…wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas! Looking forward to new pictures after New Years….
Thanks very much. I hope you and your loved ones have a fantastic season!
Don’t worry about blogging, enjoy your holidays 🙂
You too!
The days are slipping by, and I find myself in the same predicament! Looking forward to January with you. Enjoy your holidays, family and friends.
You too Patti!
It will give us all something to look forward to after Christmas!
Thanks and I wish you a happy new year!
Good luck with making things done before the due time, TBM 🙂
It’s interesting how you guys still sending cards for Christmas and New year. Indonesian people are too lazy to send cards now, we just text our friends and say happy new year.
We are trying to be better since we live far away from everyone. But I am running late, so emails will have to be sent 🙂
I am lucky this time…C. insisted I have as much X-mas spirit as the Grinch, so he made me work hard on x-mas decorations and postcards—-Everything has been done and sent…
Anyway!!!! …I DO understand you…
Have a wonderful time and enjoy!!!
We will read you back next year!
We are almost done now. Almost time to sit back and enjoy our time together–that’s my favorite part. I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday!
Thanks a lot! 🙂
Take the time to relax and enjoy the holiday. Blogging is fun, but it shouldn’t instill so much guilt that it takes the pleasure from your celebration. Merry Christmas!
happy holidays Naomi!
