About TBM
TB Markinson is an American who's recently returned to the US after a seven-year stint in the UK and Ireland. When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in New England, or reading. Not necessarily in that order. Her novels have hit Amazon bestseller lists for lesbian fiction and lesbian romance. She cohosts the Lesbians Who Write Podcast (lesbianswhowrite.com) with Clare Lydon. TB also runs I Heart Lesfic (iheartlesfic.com), a place for authors and fans of lesfic to come together to celebrate lesbian fiction.

Blame the cat, blame the cat 🙂 🙂 🙂
It’s a great excuse!
🙂 🙂
I enjoyed the photo and the story!
Thanks Naomi.
Poor cat!
Don’t tell him
I blame my cat for all sorts of things–I wrote about him today–he sort of looks like this cat.
I doubt this one would like ketchup. Even my dog hates ketchup and he’s eats just about anything.
I guess it is just not high up on the list of animal favourites
Along with mustard. Unless on a hamburger then Miles is able to overcome it.
ha ha ha
Love this! I regularly say to my husband (and he to me) “I can’t do that. I’m trapped under a cat.” 🙂
I’ll back up your excuse any day!
He looks bellied up to the bar.
I bet he prefers whiskey.
I have a feeling the cay belongs to the bar owner and is trained to keep costumer stay longer 😉
I just remember something..what happen to your pets when you’re traveling?
We always have someone stay at our flat to take care of them. I think they are pretty spoiled when we are gone!
ah!! they probably wishing you to go traveling all the time 😉
Maybe–they love not having rules.
Looks like the cat was hypnotizing you – look into my eyes…..keep drinking beer!! LOL
Yes! Exactly!
I wish the US was a little more lax about calm, polite pets at places that serve food and beer. Alas, US eaters are snobs and do not allow feathered, furred, or scaled companions to dine with us in public.
It is nice. We keep meaning to bring Miles to our local pub, but we always forget. I bet he would love it as long as people gave him attention. He gets hurt feelings when people don’t pet him.
The kitty found a warm lap.
Blaming the cat huh ?? Like the dog ate my homework miss !!!!
Once my dog peed on my homework. The teacher laughed at my note from my mom, but I swear it was true.
Awww. He looks quite charming and German beer is good, so a second one probably didn’t hurt. 🙂
At least not until the next morning 🙂
What a cutie…
Aw, a lap kitty! How sweet. Sure, blame it on the cat. 😉
I have no shame.
Ha, ha, ha…..
How sweet …..and a perfectly valid reason to stay longer 🙂
Couldn’t agree more!
Animals have great senses and found you. What a cute story!! You are loved 🙂
He was a sweetie.
I hope he bought a round!
Nope, but next time I suspect he will.
