I got up early today to watch the Australian Open Men’s Final. For those of you who have recorded the match I won’t ruin it. Instead I’ll share this photo of one of the ball boys from last year’s US Open. His heart, determination, and bravery are really inspirational. His name is Ryan McIntosh and he lost his leg from a landmine in Afghanistan.

He is certainly an inspiration and a reminder that my complaints and obstacles in life are very minor!!
Amazing.
I didn’t even notice until you mentioned it. Thanks to all the young (and old) men and women who should be the true role models for our children.
Yes I agree. And my thanks to all of the men and women who have served.
Had no idea TBM! Truly inspirational, thank you.
How gutsy is that
There are so many brave people in this world with a lot of heart.
Inspirational indeed!
Cool angle!
I was at the 2012 Open, but did not get to see him. Absolutely an inspiration – you’re so right about that.
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
