One of my first thoughts when I came down with the flu last week was I hope the better half doesn’t get it. Gosh, I love the better half, but what a baby when it comes to being sick. I received the dreaded email today. The one announcing, “I think I’m getting sick.” I may have my hands full over the next few days. Isn’t this baby adorable?

Great photo!
I love that they are looking at the camera
May the Force be with you!
I’ll need it! Thanks!
Good luck with that. My better half is a huge baby when he gets sick… I’d rather deal with all three kids sick than with him being sick! Hope you feel better soon.
Yikes–worse than three kids!
I hope your better half is wrong and won’t be coming down with it. For both your sakes!
I’m pretty sure it’s at least a cold–will know more in a day or two.
Ready for your Chief Nurse rôle? I hope TBH is better soon.
I hope so too
Hang in there!!
Thanks. Will do my best
Yes, the baby is adorable! However, I’m sure the baby is taller than I am.
Hope the better half recovers soon.
I saw a three week old giraffe but didn’t get a good photo. And it was taller than me. I think this one is much older but don’t know for sure.
OH NO!!! If your better half is anything like my better half, that will not be fun :(. Will he at least take medicine when you suggest it? Because mine never does and it drives me crazy. I mean, don’t complain if you are not willing to do anything to help yourself :).
So you understand 🙂
Definitely! 🙂
My sympathy is with you…My better half becomes my awful half when sick.. Let´s say…If he is my half orange I sometimes feel the temptation to make a nice orange juice…But it last few days…;)
So, lots of courage!
BTW: I love Bostwana. We spent there our honeymoon..And one of the places we visited was the Chobe National Park…Forever in my mind!
What a fantastic place for a honeymoon! I would love to go back there. That’s one place that I think about the most.
Me as well…
Love those giraffes! And yes, better halves always have ful whereas we just have bad colds 😉
So you know where I’m coming from
flu, not ful…which I think is an Egyptian bean dish 🙂
Not sure I’ve tried ful–sounds a whole lot better than the flu
Good luck!
I appreciate it
I remember when I was married. i’d be sick – dragging myself around to look after two little ones, cook, clean…but Lordy if the man was ill…he took to his bed, demanded to be looked after, felt sorry for…drove me insane.
Okay, TBH isn’t that bad, but still pretty whiney. And never wants to be alone. When I’m sick, I want to be alone. Go to work, go to the pub, but leave me in peace and quiet.
Oh no, the dreaded ‘man flu’. Good luck.
Lynn 😀
thanks Lynn
Cool duo!
