I love winter. The cold. The snow. The fresh, brisk air. But I’ve had it. Winter came. It was wonderful. Now I’m ready for warmth. I want to feel the sun on my skin. And I’m tired of doing so much laundry. T shirts and shorts don’t add up so quickly.
Poolside in the Dominican.

I couldn’t agree more 🙂
And yet you won’t let me win the mystery photo!
Now TBM, you know it wouldn’t be fair if I LET you win the mystery photo. Can you imagine the tongue lashing I would get from LouAnn?!?!?
I believe she told you to let me win 🙂
Beautiful photo! 🙂
Ah and it just snowed here!!
We’ve had tiny flakes of snow but they never landed on the ground.
I feel for you. I remember when it was all just too much and you were so done with it. Glad I don’t have to deal with it anymore… 🙂
It does give me something to look forward to, just ready right now 🙂
I wouldn’t say ‘no’ to a little sunshine now. Grey skies are becoming a bit ‘last week’.
I stopped the other day in my tracks when I saw a patch of blue sky, right before nightfall. So it didn’t last.
I will join you someplace warm not near a vacuum outlet
No vacuum outlets and I’m still upset she didn’t let me win.
Someday we will win–I just know it–the same day we find joy and get rid of woe
so much woe on a Friday!
you think she would throw us a crumb!
Or have a photo of cookie crumbs. I bet we’d get that one!
we would – we would have to share the accolades of being winners together–
Do I have to share the crumbs though?
nope they are all yours
Excellent. I apparently have zero pride.
You have a while to wait for the t shirts/shorts weather I reckon! It’s bitterly cold tonight isn’t it. Brrrrrrr!
I saw on the news the cold will be around this week as well. sigh.
Oh stop it! I want to be there right now. We are having the wettest Summer ever!
Let’s go 🙂
Right there with you!!! But I guess if truth be known I don’t really love winter. I love the first nice white fluffy snow and then I am over it.
It’s always fun to look forward to the first snow…then it gets dirty, the cold lingers, and I start thinking of warmer days.
wow!! that’s a beautiful view.
When wil the winter over? Here in Indonesia, it’s rainy season, but I still see the sun in between the rainy days
It’s still cold here right now and I think it’s colder than normal from what I hear. In the next month I hope the temperature warms up.
I like the look of pure, unaltered, freshly fallen snow. We have had a lot of snow this year, and we have received a few storms this week, with a big one that’s supposed to pound us tomorrow. I could use some sun and warmth right now, too.
I wish you luck and stay safe. And let’s hope spring arrives early and stays
i wouldn’t mind the winter here so much if we had snow. but we have rain, cold and dreary and basement flooding rain. i’m sick of the laundry and the furnace running – that oil burning is cutting in to my fun money! fall in southern virginia is perfect though. warm sunny days, no humidity and cool evenings. luckily fall seems to last til december.
I would love it if fall lasted longer, that’s my favorite season. And yes, heating bills are no fun.
i would like to spend some time with myself for a while over here some day.
I hope you visit there.
i still have that book in shelf.. along with tom sawyer’s book..
How very fitting since they were neighbors in real life.
If spring won’t come to us, we shall go to it! 🙂
That would be nice.
… and this wek isn’t looking any better TBM 😦
But Ssrely it won’t be long before they start talking of a BBQ Summer again, something to look forward to surely 😉
Poolside looks inviting .
I was a bit sad when I watched the forecast on the news this morning. But you’re right, it’ll be here soon!
haha just seen I must have felt sssshivery writing that 😉
Enjoy your week TBM more book pages to turn and pubs to review I’m sure .. oh & some work too !
some work…just some. Have a great week!
Take me to the warmth please!
Yes–I’ve had it with winter. Another chilly day here, but slightly, and only slightly, warmer. Wishing you a warm, sunny day.
This picture is stunning!!
