Back in 2011, when we still lived in Boston at the last minute we decided to head for Cape Ann for the weekend. We didn’t have a pet sitter so Atticus and Miles joined us. They were so happy to come along, they actually got along. Maybe they need more vacation time together.

are they a good friend, can’t believe this. Lovely photograph, blessing them, Thanks and Love, nia
They get along, but are the best of friends.
I am such a sucker for cat and dog pictures….I immediately said “awwwwww”.
🙂
I can imagine them lounging on a beach in the Caribbean together. Or hiking up Kilimanjaro. The possibilities are endless!
I think the Caribbean is more Att’s speed. He loves the ocean.
I want to see more photos of those 2 cuties 😀
I’ll do my best!
Aw that’s so cute! Our two (mind you, they’re both dogs) love travelling with us!
And they get to go to cool places!
How cute. I have a few shots of the cat and dog together. 🙂
I try to get some when the opportunity arises. They aren’t the best of friends.
So, is that just the perspective or is Atticus bigger than Miles?
Lynn 😀
They weigh about the same, but Att is quite fluffy.
i didn’t know Miles had a sibling. (I probably forgot)
Atticus is difficult to get good photos of. I’m working on that so he doesn’t feel left out.
They are so adorable!!
Thanks. They make me laugh each day.
Miles is with Kitty Kat… whats the name of the cat TBM?
The cat’s name is Atticus.
Oh they are so cute together. They say that stressful situations like travelling can help animals bond 😉
I was surprised by how much Atticus (the cat) enjoyed the trip. He could hear and see the ocean from our room and he loved it.
great picture. i have one of my cat with our parakeet on his head. it’s interesting how animals can make friends. the National Geographic picture of the polar bear playing with the sled dogs is incredible.
A parakeet and a cat–that’s awesome!
Oh! I didn’t realize how little Miles is until next to Atticus (who is a big cat). Still, seeing Miles with his red ball, he stands so tall and happy proud.
Miles and Att weigh about the same, but Att is pretty fluffy making him look bigger. Miles is a little guy.
This is adorable!
That’s sweet! Our dogs loved it when we would take them on road trips with us. They were like little kids, they would be so excited.
Miles loves road trips. The other day we walked by a car that had an open door. He was ready to climb in and go for a trip. Unfortunately it wasn’t our car and the chap wasn’t too happy that Miles wanted a chauffeur.
Cape Ann is a wonderful place to visit!
Yes it is. I miss it!
Now if we only have more photographs such as this one – of beautiful animals getting along together no matter the odds (and societal expectations). I love this post, TBM.
Thanks Myra. It’s always great to see the boys getting along 🙂
