Hilarious position!
It was a sight to see.
What… is it doing???
Licking the ground of course. You don’t do that?
Only if it’s got cake crumbs on it.
I need to test this theory.
That’s what I look like when I’m trying to do yoga. 🙂
At least you try. I keep talking about doing yoga.
So, what was he/she sniffing, licking, er….eating? Was it another animal’s urine? My goats do that all the time when they go into heat.
He’s licking the soil for nutrients that are vital. It’s not the first time he’s done this pose.
Great caption!
BTW … Congratulate your British friends for me in terms of Justin Rose winning the US Open.
I was surprised to see his name as the winner.
He played well!
Good for him. It’s always nice to see a new person win.
Ah aha! My Mum LOVES giraffes. I remember this one time that we went to the zoo and the giraffe spat at me. Ahh memories.
I’ll trade you. My fond animal bonding moment at a zoo was when monkey flung his poo at me.
I am now grinning ear to ear – that is a fabulous shot!! I feel like he or she is going to yell out, “help me, I’m stuck!” 🙂
That would be me.
Me too 🙂
Awesome. Love this shot.
Thanks, dude!
No problem with that !
I won’t be trying it either. At least not intentionally.
Definitely don’t try it at home… unless well trained in gymnastics… Lovely photo TBM… love it..
Thanks bulldog!
Nice one! I have never seen a giraffe picture like this 🙂 This one must be be a real gymnast!
A better gymnast than I that’s for sure.
Gorgeousness!! Love it… Wonderful photograph. I’m sure if you red bubbled it, people would buy the print. I for one certainly would. So if you get around to doing that, let me know the link 🙂
Miss Lou
Silly me, I had to google Redbubble 🙂 Will let you know if I do go that route.
I’d love your giraffe on an IPAD cover. I am pretty sure they do that, although it would go beautifully framed inside my family room.
Please do!
I will think about it. I need to get a few projects off my platter first and then you never know. and I love finding ways to procrastinate.
lol 😀
Love this 🙂
Giraffes are so cool! Great shot, TBM.
Well, curiously enough I was reading about giraffes not long ago, don’t even ask why, and although you tend to think of them as having this really long neck, in actual fact there legs are so long that this is how they have to reach ground level! I never would have thought it but now not only have I read about it but I’ve seen the pictures as well.
Thanks
Lynn 😀
Glad I could help 🙂
That’s me trying to touch my toes:-)
This photo made me smile.
🙂
He he he…. 🙂 great shot. Thanks and Love, nia
Thanks Nia.
Brilliant but it does remind me of myself as I am constantly slipping and falling over!
I’m extremely accident prone myself. On my walk this morning I noticed a scar on my arm and it took me a couple of minutes to remember which fall caused it.
Great picture and caption – fascinating pose!
I wouldn’t be able to manage that pose 🙂
I might try it in yoga class though. This pic is cup worthy of a contest :-).
Not sure how that cup snuck into my comment!
It’s amazing how our brain and fingers have minds of their own.
Awesome photo!
Giraffes are so cool 🙂
Yes they are.
i always thought nature made a mistake with the way those beautiful creatures have to bend like that. must take most of the fun out of eating.
I would starve.
