This hasn’t been the best of weeks. I would love to be in Zambia enjoying this beer. Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy weekend to you too, TBM!

Love the reflection of the tree in the glass. Upside down. Like your week…?
Very much so. Hoping this week is better. How are you?
I’d be better had my tax bill not just arrived… lol.

Have a good one TBM
Thanks, bulldog.
Sorry to hear it’s not going well – take care and have a good weekend!
Thanks! Hope you had a fab weekend.
May we both have a weekend full of fun and relaxation :).
I hope you did. we had a great weekend!
Yes, ours was wonderful too. We went to see World War Z on Friday night which is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time (very frightening concept) and basically spent the rest of the weekend outside reading and working on my tan :). I am feeling very relaxed this morning. Are you still enjoying awesome weather? It was hot and sunny here all weekend, and it is going to be an extremely hot and humid this week. I am loving it :).
We are in the midst of a London heatwave. Miles and Att are not happy. Not one bit. I’ve seen the ad for the movie, but haven’t watched it yet. I spent much of the weekend outside, but no tan. Unless you count pink. In the winter I’m pale and in the summer I’m pink. Never could tan that well.
Well, we all have to watch out for those UV rays, so I did make sure that I put on some sunscreen part way through the day, but I am very lucky that I tan nicely. You should see Mike!! He’s so dark you would swear he was native Indian, but then he works outside in the sun every day :).
I am so happy you are getting some nice weather :). I hope you spent some time reading outside! I am sitting outside right now because our house is really hot and stuffy. You should hear the birds. It sounds like I’m sitting in the middle of the rain forest or something – oh, how I wish I could stay home! There’s nothing better than listening to the birds singing in the morning. Mike put a patio door from our bedroom out to the deck and most nights we sleep with it open, so every morning I get to wake up to the sound of the birds singing. Good thing I’m a morning person right?
As for World War Z, you should definitely try and see it. I was very impressed, and it sure stays with you afterwards and makes you think. I’m reading the book right now too but am finding it a tough go. It is written as a bunch of survivors’ accounts, and just when you are getting into one story it switches to another. This is one of the rare occasion where I definitely liked the movie far better than the book.
I love hearing the birds in the morning, but I’m not much of a morning person so I wish they’d wait until 8 am. Interesting that you prefer the movie, but from the sounds of the book it sounds like it moves on too quickly from each story. that can be aggravating. I always want to know more.
Ha! I thought this was your entry for this week’s photo challenge – The Golden Hour – it would certainly fit the bill!
I didn’t even look this weekend. Maybe I just felt what it would be this week 😉
Have a great weekend, TBM! Enjoy your beer:-)
Thanks!

Has your commenting issue been resolved yet?
Nope. I sent an email to Akismet, but I’m still having difficulties. You?
Heard nothing back, but some comments are working yet most are still not appearing.
did you get the email address to Akismet? Someone from WordPress finally sent it to me so I could email them directly.
Yeah I did e-mail them, but I’m still awaiting a response.
Me too. I’m thinking they are based in the US so they may not be ready for business yet. But I could be wrong.
Very clever shot!
Thanks, Hook
Oh, nice shot! Here’s to a much better week. . . .
