This weekend we wandered through Hyde Park in London. We spied this family swimming in the Serpentine. I thought I would share more than one photo today. And if anyone can identify them I would be grateful.

The goslings are so cute.
I love seeing them
I saw some really tame Egyptian goslings at Osterley Park. π
I haven’t been to Osterley Park. Where is that?
It’s in West London.
Not far away from Heathrow. :p
Thanks. I need to check it out. I love all the parks and gardens in London.
Bill Kaulitz ca. 2008, I’d say.
LOL
Not a clue as to the ID, but they’re very cute. π
I agree, Robin.
I think I can identify the ones in the big picture. The two adults are Donald and Daisy, while the little ones must be Huey, Dewey and Louie… π
Now why didn’t I think of that π
Gorgeous but I don’t know much about ducks. I think Mallards are the ones where the male has a green head, so probably not them!
LOL, the Mallard is the only one I can identify.
Sorry, I don’t know what they are, but I do love the little fuzzy babies. They’re soooo cute :).
I just want to pick one up and cuddle it. I won’t though. I bet the mom would have a word or two with me.
Yup, you might be missing a few fingers if you did that :).
And rightfully so. Don’t mess with babies. It’s just not polite.
I remember feeding the Canada Geese from our boat when I was a kid, and I got a couple of good nips!! LOL
Geese scare me. When Miles and I would walk in Boston we had to stroll through a gang of them. I swear they had chains, switchblades, and guns. I’m surprised I survived. Even Miles would get nervous and usually he doesn’t notice a thing
Chains, switchblades, and guns – you’re hilarious!! π
They were intimidating little buggers!
These birds could not be more charming! I love the markings on the babies.
They are gorgeous and I love their personalities.
I can’t identify them, but they sure are CUTE!!!
I can’t get over how adorable the little ones are. Hope your weekend was fabulous!
I love seeing the babies. The way they just bob along in the water. I would have a hard time keeping track of them.
Not sure!
No worries, I never know.
Aaaah the Gypo geese and their young… great photos…
Thanks for the name bulldog!
Full name Egyptian Geese.. Alopochen aegyptiacus
Thanks!
Such a beautiful family! Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture, TBM!
I’m glad you like them, Vishy.

they brought a smile to my face.
Nice!
I don’t know what kind of duck they are but I agree with everyBODY else that the babies are darling. Baby ducks are just very sweet!
Baby animals are precious.

It was fun watching them bob around in the water.
