About TBM
TB Markinson is an American who's recently returned to the US after a seven-year stint in the UK and Ireland. When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in New England, or reading. Not necessarily in that order.
Her novels have hit Amazon bestseller lists for lesbian fiction and lesbian romance.
She cohosts the Lesbians Who Write Podcast (lesbianswhowrite.com) with Clare Lydon. TB also runs I Heart Lesfic (iheartlesfic.com), a place for authors and fans of lesfic to come together to celebrate lesbian fiction.
That’s great! I know people who like to hurry from sight to sight to mark it off their list. Sometimes I like to stay and enjoy, and even learn more about a sight.
I used to travel with a person who wanted to see how many countries he could be in, even if it was just being at the airport waiting for a connecting flight. He wasn’t concerned about actually visiting places outside the airport. Once, I was at the Auckland, New Zealand airport in between flights, but I don’t count it as a country I have “visited” because I was only at the airport for a couple of hours.
I’m with you. I don’t count the countries where I’ve only been to the airport. Same with the States in the US. I have a list of those I’ve spent time in, not just the airport. So far every country on my list I’ve stayed at least 2 days. I wish I could spend longer in each place–money and time are a big factor as to why I can’t. I hope all is well at home.
Ah yes … the most photographed woman in Copenhagen. Did you see the nearby Big Mermaid?
Hard to miss the BIG Mermaid.
LOL! Copenhagen is a great city for walking.
We walked everywhere. And there are a few places to stop to enjoy a beer π
Really? You stopped for a beer?
I know, shocking news!
I’m assuming the little mermaid is a statue.?? If not capture her you’ll make a fortune…
So I shouldn’t have set her free. Now you tell me.
I think that’s an interesting place to find a statue. It looks like a bronze. But not an unusual place for a mermaid.. π
I’m surprised she can hold still for so long.
Well of course you have to see her!!! When we were in Australia there was a resort with Mermaid in the name (can’t remember the whole name, of course, and Chris isn’t here to ask) and we had our son and his friend pose with the “girls” in various ways…..maybe not appropriate but it was what was expected for a tourist photo. π
Oh we do the same when we travel. There’s a reason I don’t share photos of me on my trips π
Of course you do……I would expect nothing less. But since you are finally “revealing” a bit of yourself you need to post some of those pics. Just sayin’ –full disclosure….
Hey I already said I can be an idiot. how much full disclosure do you want π
Hmmm…….now that is a good question!!!
Looks like the tourist bus has moved from Malaysia to Copenhagen π Nice picture, TBM. I got a couple of Peter HΓΈeg novels recently. Remembered that while looking at your beautiful Copenhagen picture.
I haven’t read any of his works yet. I look forward to your reviews.
