We are still plagued with internet problems. It’s working here and there. I’m hoping by Monday I’ll be back in business. For now, here are some photos of the fog we’ve had the past couple of mornings. Maybe this crashed the internet. If you look closely you can see that Miles didn’t let the fog get to him. He still insisted on going to the park to play fetch.

Hope the internet comes back soon, TBM. Nice pictures. The fog makes me think of the old descriptions in Sherlock Holmes – with the fog and something being afoot 🙂 Glad to know that Miles didn’t let the fog get to him.
Miles loves all types of weather except for the rain. Hates the rain!
Awww, Miles is such a trooper :). I wish we had fog – instead we are having another snowstorm!!
Hope the boys did you out!
I told Daniel that the driveway better be clear by the time I get home :).
Glad I’m not Daniel! Of course, he got to stay home today.
Miles is going to be a fog dog if he stays in that too long.
Oh he loves it! Kept making me nervous when I couldn’t see him.
That last image is surreal! I love it. What kind of camera did you use to capture it?
Thanks. Just used my Samsung mobile. Nothing fancy at all, just lucky.
No way! That is so nice. I’ve been hunting around for a scene like that, I love the fog..
The past two mornings have been lovely. Too bad I’m not closer to The Thames. I bet it was a stunning sight. I’m a fog lover as well. Grew up in Southern California and it was foggy on many mornings. Now it makes me feel like I’m home.
Being annoyed when the Internet is down shows how much we rely on it — so another reason to have a beer …. so cheers to remember Miles’ ball …. thus another reason for another beer.
Ever since that one time, Miles checks my pockets now to make sure I’m prepared before we go. He’s much smarter than me.
… and you don’t want to be banished from the pub again!
I really didn’t like that. Got the shakes.
… ha ha … and you haven’t forgot the ball since.
not once!
The fog makes for a pretty picture. Miles knew Mom would snuggle him in his warm coat. 🙂
LOL, Miles hates his warm coat. He’d rather stand there shivering, but I make him wear it.
Lol Just like a kid! And I don’t like being without internet, it cramps my style!
Miles is a permanent two-year-old. But I love him. I hate it when things don’t work and not having the internet is a pain in the arse. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
Funny we used to live without it, in fact never heard of it… now when it isn’t there one feels as though you forgot to put your undies on… hate it when I don’t have it…
We’ve all become so addicted. I’m really excited about your book news!
Hmmm…it strikes me that Miles has a vested interest in your internet not working… he’s not been peeing onto the socket, has he?!
I wouldn’t put it past him. He hates it when I work. Hates it!
I really like the last shot. Poor Miles–if he hates the rain he’s in the wrong city! Maybe he’ll get used to it?
We used to lose power all the time when we lived on the East Coast. Starbucks was my refuge, but it was hard to work with so many people waiting in line to use the outlets. I would check email and leave quickly.
When I was in NY last time I did the Starbucks thing in the mornings to stay on top of emails. Such a pain in the butt. so many of us who are addicted and need our caffeine and internet fix. Getting a table was almost impossible.
Surprisingly it doesn’t rain as much as I thought it would in London. Seems like it rained more in Boston. He still hasn’t adjusted. Now he has a garden so he knows he doesn’t have to go far if he doesn’t want to.
Last photo is awesome! We swear the fog takes down our internet. Dogs just know how to live.. 🙂
You’d think London companies would be able to handle the fog. They just need to learn from Miles. Thanks!
That is impressive fog! I’d have a major bad hair day. Nice to know that Miles is in his bliss in the elements, even if you insult his masculinity by forcing him to wear a coat. At least it’s not a neon green color.
Fog never affects my hair, which is so thin and always looks the same. My hair is so so so boring. Oh Miles has a bright green rain jacket.
Good luck with your internet woes. In the meantime it is nice you and Miles can enjoy the beauty of the fog.
Miles helps me get out of house several times a day to appreciate life. He’s such a gentle and fun soul.
I like his little coat! Hope your internet troubles go away soon (I hate when that happens….).
I love Miles in his coat–unfortunately he hates it. But he’s so good when it’s time to get dressed. He raises one paw and then the other with the saddest look on his face.
we’ve had ice fog a couple of mornings….which is really weird. and oddly beautiful. like your last photo – the purple/pink is lovely.
Not sure I’ve experienced an ice fog. Sounds interesting.
All fingers XX ‘d TBM for a quick resolution … infuriating it is …good to have Miles to distract you !
Do hope you have a good weekend though ..maybe you are at this very moment on fact finding mission of a new Pub for a later review 😉
No internet does help my pub searches since I spend more time wandering around in my neighborhood. And Miles is a wonderful distraction–most days 🙂
Lovely foggy images! I hope your internet connection gets sorted post-haste.
Thanks! It’s working sort of. Hope you’re having a great weekend.
Good news! Hope you are having a happy weekend too 🙂
You too!
Fantastic pictures! I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a fog before, so these are really neat to see. Hope your internet connection stops acting so wonky soon!
Never experienced fog. Wow!
fog is good so long as you don’t have to drive in it…I hate that
That is very true. I haven’t owned a car in over a decade, so I forget about that part. The same with snow. I love snow, but when I had to drive in it, it sucked.
Here’s hoping your service is back up soon. But the pictures are great. Like everyone else, I love the fog. It’s hard to capture it without just getting a grey glob but you’ve done it. Nice.
I was lucky on the second morning since Miles got out of bed super early for him. He’s usually the last one out of bed in the morning and the first one who goes to bed at night. He loves to play, but he also loves to sleep
Good luck with the internet! I love that last photo.
Thanks Carol.
Oh wow!! look at that….the scenery reminds me of so many horror movies.
Hahaa Miles is an active dog 🙂
I try not to think of King’s Mist story when it’s like this. yes, Miles is very active. He’s trying to get me to take him to the park right now even though we just came in from playing fetch in the garden.
Hahahaha be careful with the monsters 😉
Lucky you still have a park that Miles can enjoy. I only have school park to set my turtles free.
Miles loves his new park since it’s not crowded and he can fun free. Our last flat had bigger parks, but they were full of tourists all the time, so he was always on a leash. I bet your turtles love the school park.
That’s frustrating to have internet problems. Hope everything is operating well by now.
Great photos!
The internet is back to normal–only going out once in a while. So I can’t complain. Thanks Fergiemoto.
