What’s that in the sky?

Hello folks! I wanted to check in and say hi. This week I’ve been slammed with some deadlines so I didn’t have a chance to write any reviews or visit any pubs (this will shock some). While I’ve been hammering on my keyboard, the boys have been in the garden enjoying the sun. Many of you know that England had quite a bit of rain over the past couple of months. When it wasn’t raining, the wind was howling. Miles and Att spent way too many days inside. Trust me, they grumbled quite a bit about it. Finally there’s been a change in the weather. That yellow thing in the sky has been spotted several times this week and my sun-worshipping boys have enjoyed every second. Hopefully I’ll finish up my tasks by Sunday and can return to blogging next week. I miss hanging out with all of you. Have a wonderful week and I hope some sunny days.

  1. Oh happy boys 🙂 Hoping mine will get the chance to do the same this weekend. You could always go to the pub this weekend 😉

  3. Vishy says:

Nice pictures, TBM. Glad to know that that you have spotted the yellow thing in the sky recently 🙂 Hope it continues to shine brightly. Hope also you are able to complete everything by deadline. Happy Thursday!

    I’m dumb struck…. no pub visit… I don’t know what to say…. dumb struck….

  5. LOL, these are great 🙂

Deadlines and pub curfews – not so great 😦

Fingers crossed it’ll all be back to normal next week, and that the elusive disc in the sky maintains its position.

  6. In Chennai the temperature is 83 F (28 C) Wonder if your boys will like it here?

  7. Casey Bramble says:

That is a very, very fuzzy cat and comfortable looking dog.

I particularly like the second picture where the dog is just sort of waiting for the bone to come to it.

    • TBM says:

Att is hairy. I’m constantly vacuuming and washing blankets. I’m somewhat allergic to him–not serious, just enough to annoy me. Miles loves his bones. he’ll carry one around for days before he eats it, like we’ll never give him another.

  8. Colline says:

I love Att’s face as he looks up at the sun. I am hoping to do some of that soon 🙂
    Good luck with your deadlines.

  9. Sorry, it took me a few minutes to respond because I fainted and was laying on the floor. I could swear you said something about not going to the pubs, but I must have heard wrong because there’s no way that’s true LOL!!! Anyway, I’m totally jealous of your boys. I want to lay on the floor in a patch of sunlight and feel the warmth right through to my bones, but that won’t be me for a couple of months yet. Wahhhhh!!!!!

  10. Glad the boys are getting out and enjoying the sun. Good luck with the deadlines. Happy writing, my friend.

    Hugs from Ecuador,
    Kathy

  11. thx for taking some time to share that beautiful sunshine with us. 🙂 one thing gloomy, rainy days are good for is getting indoor work done. not that i’ve been industrious myself… but i understand the need to meet deadlines. fun pictures of the sun-worshipers!

  12. Novroz says:

Huahaha … look at Miles’ pose…epic!!!

    Good luck with the deadline

  13. Melissa says:

Hope you get a chance to enjoy the sunshine too! I think if you meet all of your deadlines you should treat yourself to a special Sunday Pub visit. I feel like half the fun of setting goals are the rewards you promise yourself at the end. Don’t forget the sunblock!

    • TBM says:

And they do Sunday roast at most pubs. That sounds nice. A good meal, a beer, and no deadline. Thanks. Have a great weekend!

  14. poppytump says:

Glad you could take a moment off to take some pictures like these TBM . Utter bliss on that upturned face and panned out pose . I wish the same for you soon and an ease off after the deadline will be most welcome I’m sure 😉

    • TBM says:

It’s funny watching Att enjoying something since he usually has such a scowl on his face. He looks cranking, but he’s really a sweetie.

  15. I would love a life of leisure where I soak in the rays like pampered Miles and Att.

  16. lynnsbooks says:

They both look so happy. It will be lovely when Spring truly arrives!
    Lynn 😀

    • TBM says:

I can’t wait. It wasn’t as cold this winter, but all the rain got to be a bit much even for me since I love the rain. Looks like it’s going to rain here today.
