Hello folks! I wanted to check in and say hi. This week I’ve been slammed with some deadlines so I didn’t have a chance to write any reviews or visit any pubs (this will shock some). While I’ve been hammering on my keyboard, the boys have been in the garden enjoying the sun. Many of you know that England had quite a bit of rain over the past couple of months. When it wasn’t raining, the wind was howling. Miles and Att spent way too many days inside. Trust me, they grumbled quite a bit about it. Finally there’s been a change in the weather. That yellow thing in the sky has been spotted several times this week and my sun-worshipping boys have enjoyed every second. Hopefully I’ll finish up my tasks by Sunday and can return to blogging next week. I miss hanging out with all of you. Have a wonderful week and I hope some sunny days.
Oh happy boys 🙂 Hoping mine will get the chance to do the same this weekend. You could always go to the pub this weekend 😉
Trust me. I plan on it! I hope you guys get some sun. Mine are outside once again.
…. 🙂 They aare so lovely so lovely Thank you dear TBM, have a nice day, love, nia
Thanks Nia. You too!
Nice pictures, TBM. Glad to know that that you have spotted the yellow thing in the sky recently 🙂 Hope it continues to shine brightly. Hope also you are able to complete everything by deadline. Happy Thursday!
Thanks Vishy. I’m getting close to finishing the major project. It’ll be such a relief! Have a great weekend.
I’m dumb struck…. no pub visit… I don’t know what to say…. dumb struck….
I’m disappointed as well. But this weekend, look out pubs, here I come!
LOL, these are great 🙂
Deadlines and pub curfews – not so great 😦
Fingers crossed it’ll all be back to normal next week, and that the elusive disc in the sky maintains its position.
Deadlines are evil, but if I don’t set them or my editor doesn’t, I would never publish a thing. I did a quick check. Only one day of rain predicted over the next week. Woohoo!
Hurraaaaahhhh! And with the evil deadline out of the way, you’ll be able to enjoy it. Maybe even sit OUTSIDE a pub 😉
A beer outside. One word: Delightful!
That’s what we had yesterday. Just put up the post. Not featuring the beer, but me on a swing 😉
In Chennai the temperature is 83 F (28 C) Wonder if your boys will like it here?
Miles would love it! Att would want to be in the shade, but still outside. It sounds wonderful to me!
That is a very, very fuzzy cat and comfortable looking dog.
I particularly like the second picture where the dog is just sort of waiting for the bone to come to it.
Att is hairy. I’m constantly vacuuming and washing blankets. I’m somewhat allergic to him–not serious, just enough to annoy me. Miles loves his bones. he’ll carry one around for days before he eats it, like we’ll never give him another.
I love Att’s face as he looks up at the sun. I am hoping to do some of that soon 🙂
Good luck with your deadlines.
This is the perfect temp for Att. not too hot and yet he can still feel the sun on his face. Once summer hits, he hides in the shade. I hope you have some sun soon!
I am hoping that the sun is coming our way soon 🙂
Fingers crossed!
Sorry, it took me a few minutes to respond because I fainted and was laying on the floor. I could swear you said something about not going to the pubs, but I must have heard wrong because there’s no way that’s true LOL!!! Anyway, I’m totally jealous of your boys. I want to lay on the floor in a patch of sunlight and feel the warmth right through to my bones, but that won’t be me for a couple of months yet. Wahhhhh!!!!!
I’m jealous of the boys as well. I’m working my fingers to the bone and they’re lazing about. Just remember you have many more warmer days in the summer than we do. Hang in there. Soon you’ll be reading outside before and after work.
I can’t wait!!!! I just can’t seem to get warm today. Somebody referred to it today as the winter that never ends……
That sounds horrible!
Glad the boys are getting out and enjoying the sun. Good luck with the deadlines. Happy writing, my friend.
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
Thanks! you too!
thx for taking some time to share that beautiful sunshine with us. 🙂 one thing gloomy, rainy days are good for is getting indoor work done. not that i’ve been industrious myself… but i understand the need to meet deadlines. fun pictures of the sun-worshipers!
yes once the nice weather hits, I’m not as productive.
Huahaha … look at Miles’ pose…epic!!!
Good luck with the deadline
Thanks!
Hope you get a chance to enjoy the sunshine too! I think if you meet all of your deadlines you should treat yourself to a special Sunday Pub visit. I feel like half the fun of setting goals are the rewards you promise yourself at the end. Don’t forget the sunblock!
And they do Sunday roast at most pubs. That sounds nice. A good meal, a beer, and no deadline. Thanks. Have a great weekend!
Glad you could take a moment off to take some pictures like these TBM . Utter bliss on that upturned face and panned out pose . I wish the same for you soon and an ease off after the deadline will be most welcome I’m sure 😉
It’s funny watching Att enjoying something since he usually has such a scowl on his face. He looks cranking, but he’s really a sweetie.
I would love a life of leisure where I soak in the rays like pampered Miles and Att.
Me too. I tell them that every day when they’re complaining about not getting their way.
They both look so happy. It will be lovely when Spring truly arrives!
Lynn 😀
I can’t wait. It wasn’t as cold this winter, but all the rain got to be a bit much even for me since I love the rain. Looks like it’s going to rain here today.
happy fur boys 🙂
yes! they love their new garden
Deadlines have to be met! Think how good that drink will taste afterwards 🙂
Very true!
Good luck with those deadlines! Love the pics. 🙂
Thanks Carole.
We have had beautiful sun this week! yay!
still minus 16 Celsius!! not awesome.
I cannot wait until the day I can go outside with my camera and not fear frost bite.
minus 16. Yuck. Is that with or without wind?
All the best for your writing! The boys look like they’re having a great time. Hopefully you’ll get to lounge with them after you’re done with your deadlines!
This weekend might be nice and I’m almost done with one project. I can take a little breather and then jump into the next. Hope all is well with you!
It is. Hope you get plenty of time to breathe and cuddle your boys!
That’s the plan this weekend! Have a wonderful day 🙂
the boys are so cute… love them!
They know how to win people over 🙂
I’d be doing the same thing–if that yellow thing would show up here! We might get a peek Saturday, and there’s hope for next week, too! Miss you!
Fingers crossed for you. The sun is peeking through the clouds right now so hopefully
Aww, Miles and Att are so adorable! My own dog worships the sun, too, haha. Good luck with your deadlines! 🙂
Thanks Heather. Dogs and the sun–it’s fun to watch them.
Leave it to the boys to soak in the sun! Hope you can get to the pub soon. 🙂
I went last night and man was it nice! Have a great weekend!
yep, they sure are loving the sun
Animals know how to appreciate life.
They’re just chillin’ … that doggy bed looks pretty comfy 🙂
Both Miles and Att love it.
Miles’ sunbathing position is so funny! Enjoy the sun 🙂
He has such a funny little body.
