For a holiday! It feels like I haven’t had a break in years, when it’s only been a few months. Tomorrow we’re heading to Scotland. Edinburgh to be exact. I’ve never been and I’m looking forward to seeing some of the sights.
And maybe enjoying one of these

And some of these

Not everyone is happy.

Miles has to stay home.
Att is hardly ever happy. Actually that’s not true. He just looks perpetually unhappy, like a serial killer cat.

See ya all when I get back and if I don’t have too many beers and shots, I may have some photos to share. Can’t promise though. We are celebrating a friend’s 40th and the bash is supposed to last several days.

Have a grand time!! Look forward to some pictures.
Awww, poor Miles and Att. How could you leave those cute little faces behind? LOL. Anyway, I hope you have a fabulous trip and have time outside of your pub hopping to see all the wonderful sights. I don’t know if you’ll be checking your blog or not, but I forgot to remind you to visit The Elephant House where J.K. Rowling did some of her writing. Oh, and you must find the statue of Greyfriar’s Bobby, the little dog who guarded his owner’s grave for 14 years until he died himself. The Greyfriar’s Pub is right behind the statue, so you could kill two birds with one stone :). Just thinking of you being there brings back so many memories for me from our trip there last summer. I want to go back!!! Have a blast!
Have a lovely holiday and enjoy yourself.
Edinburgh, well Scotland actually, is a fine holiday destination. When we lived in Newcastle we nipped over the border many a time. I did one of my MBA summer schools in Edinburgh. Oh the clubs! I forgot I was in my 30s and behaved like an undegraduate again (we were staying at Herriot watt).
Have a wonderful time. Hope Miles and Atticus don’t miss you too much.
Have a great time! I love Edinburgh.
Safe journey, but good luck at finding alcoholic beverages in Scotland because the Scots don’t drink.
‘Atticus, the serial killer cat’ sounds like a sidekick in a mystery novel. Perhaps that would be just the thing to perk him up?
Agreed! It’s time for a wee vacation. Have a wonderful time! We look forward to a full report……. Cheers!
Have a wonderful time!
